Back on thread.............we have a squad of 17 confirmed so far. We need to find at least 5 more players of any standard other than academy to have any chance of avoiding the wooden spoon......are there 5 players available? Do we have funds to sign these players? Are we looking to fill any of the quota spots we have left?
The steady thread of non-signings from the facebook site/club site is very worrying......even if Mac had decided to leave in July, surely DH would have been sounding out players for 2011 back then......

try a little experiment.......go through the first few pages of members on the facebook page and count the number of Non London/South East members........there are quite a few from Northern based club areas who may have joined up just to get the free ticket offer earlier this year...
Regardless of the Gender of the 'clown".....a basic understanding of social media marketing would be helpfull when formulating 2011's "Massive Marketing Plan"


Facebooking for the sake of facebooking is pretty lame.....and it is a sad story if the clubs marketing people need to use it to communicate everything because their databases are in tatters and their own website get's less traffic than its facebook page

I see the Bulldogs have released two props in Danny Wiliams and Jarrad Hickey. I dont know much about both these,but have seen Hickey on sky and he seemed quiet decent and strong. I wonder if the club would inquirer about either of these.

Would love to have Hickey, he's just what we need. Don't think he would count on the overseas quota as he is eligible for Ireland!

Danny Williams was a highly regarded second-row, very workman-like who has become a bit of a prop. Hickey is a monster, lost his way a little over recent years in terms of progress on the field, but would be very welcome.
