Re: the colour, if we have a St George's cross won't it look like another team's banner? (like Rovers or Saints or someone?).

Seeing as our history is a right old messy mix of names, places and colours, why not make that a positive feature of the flag... one corner each for Fulham, Crusaders, Broncos and Quins, using the main colour(s) of that team with the badge in the centre of the quarter. Perhaps using a white cross to delineate each segment. Also, that way the overall picture has a sense of the harlequin about it in totality, so takes the past through to the present as a continuous narrative where the current patchwork quins brand actually represents and embodies our genuine multi-coloured, multi-layered history. Feels like a brand truth to me, beautiful.

That's my twopenneth worth, but then I'm a marketer so talk brand b*ll*x most of the time anyway.

Ye,s that is the Crusaders logo and I can scan the Fulham RL logo if required.

Dotti, I will check out the old programmes at the weekend. The Crusaders probably had a lot of logos.

The logo shown in the link is the first one, somewhat negative might add, and it was produced by the then shirt supplier' internal 'designer' from 2/3 photocopy referances of crusaders I sent. We were never able to 'improve' on it because of lack of funds to get a decent logo produced till the end of our final season at CP.

The logo design I have is the one off a limited edition T Shirt produced by one of the departing senior players. Both Strudwick & I agreed that it was an ideal replacement logo for the following season but within weeks the club was taken over and moved to the NW London!! The new owners produced their own logo regretfully even worse than the initial effort.

The 'long/thin' logo you mention was the 'matchstick' one produced by the wife of the 'new' owner.
