although the french post isn't 'full time' the new man will be expected to be very much hands-on and proactive in RL at all levels in France from kids to international level with a re structuring plan to implement so I would imagine most of his time would be spent in France

If Bradford are in administration it is likely that all of their insurances have been cancelled and the administrators will then look to provide some form of insurance for tangible assets.

Playser cannot get personal cover for professional sports cover cost effectively and any individual Personal Accident insurance they may have will exclude professional sport.

Therefore, it is possible that the players are uninsured and as Rugby is a contact sport and they could suffer serious injury easily in training they will have been advised not to do anything until the question of insurance is resolved. IIRC, the RFL has paid the PA cover for the players last week...

Poor sods

Apparently they only played last weekend because the Players' Association coughed up for their insurance.

Again players are saying this morning that no one knows what is happening, what a sad state!

They will have another meeting on Sun when the people on the other side wont know what they are doing.

I would suggest that having no coach at all is an advantage over having Powell. The Odsal faithful will at least be able to forget their troubles for 80 minutes.

I think we are going to get yet another absolute stuffing at poor, poor Bradford.

The situation is building nicely to its well choreographed conclusion; everyone bar a poor, poor Bulls fan can see that Caisley will arrive at the eleventh hour and save the day.

Unforeseen criticism of Nobles involvement (for the time being) now means that `Saint` Mick has returned to the fold to guide poor, poor Bradford through their darkest hour to deliver yet another thumping to the evil southerners.

With such a groundswell of sympathy and joy from the `rugby league family` and media at poor, poor Bradford being saved we will have no chance with a team that can`t push their enthusiasm beyond 20-30 minutes in any game.

Since their latest demise don't you mean - they seem to have final games and final chances almost monthly.

You could not buy the level of publicity that this soap opera is providing for poor, poor Bradford. Unfortunately not too much is being mentioned or done to compensate the unpaid creditors who are the ones who have really lost out.

Joy will be unconfined when Caisley arrives and the sorry mess which has put them in this position will all be forgotten in a fortnight. No doubt their landlords, the RFL, will cut them a nice deal in reduced/suspended rent for the crater............and no doubt they will also want to contribute to all of the other clubs that have to pay ground rent.

Rubbish. Nobody i know at poor, poor Bradford wants CC setting foot back in Odsal. The future is far from assured. I would rather do the decent thing and reform in CC1 without CC involved than do the sneaky trick of reforming and staying in SL like some i could mention.

Far from rubbish, it seems as strong a contender for the final outcome as anything else you might mention....but appreciate the crater rent comment was a jibe.

I doubt your noble aproach (no pun intended) in reforming in CC1 is truly shared by many, most will just want to get off with the lightest penalty and carry on as before, regardless of who is in charge.

As for our `sneaky trick`...........we went belly up just owing the tax man at a time time when the RFL had no rules in place regarding points deduction etc to deal with the situation. As ever David Hughes coughed up any monies required and has continued to do so ever since (poor sod) to ensure that we stay debt free.

You will also know that Bradford did their best to get us voted out of SL at that time when all the other clubs were approached..........you reap what you sow.......please don`t expect me to blubber and sympathise over poor, poor Bradfords plight.

Let's see on Sunday, a team playing for their lives and a coach playing for nothing, what do we offer ?????????????????????
