Where does it say no fans allowed?? I'm going up. (I was up there last week watching a 9s comp that was streamed). I asked the Army Capt on twitter and she gave me the match info.

There was a tweet from the army about the game. Someone responded asking about fans, they replied none allowed

Won 20 12. Only saw parts as I was watching the Quins game. From the bits I saw I was quite impressed, we looked organised and the girls really put themselves about. Great start.

Only the one sub, hopefully can get a few more on board

Caught last few mins on Twitch. Seemed to finish pretty strong despite lack of interchange.

Good result for a first game, army ladies dont lose many games.

From looking at the side, seems many have a decent background in Union. Think one was involved with wasps/richmond, another old Albanians. Hounslow, and forget a few of the others. Certainly not "novices" to rugby.

It’s the WOMENS team not Ladies!! England WOMEN, WOMEN in Sport. Why have the club called them the Broncos LADIES? So wrong!!

Well done ladies....well played and a great result. The female game is an area where rugby league has a chance to grow, as I believe the "nuances" of union are not as appealing to the fairer sex.

Also, photos from their training sessions showed Skolars and Queensland shirts on display. So a little bit of RL experience but not too much. Either way, it's a great first result.

Royal navy wrenegades for a long time were referred to as tye RN ladies.
The army RL in RL press have regularly been referred to as the Army ladies.
London broncos are called the ladies team.
They play in a comperion referred to as womens RL.
If tye teams or players involved are happy to be referred to as ladies, folk should stop whinging. Dont agree with his wording but agree with the sentiment from WQ
Or maybe i should refer to WQ in a non binary way, damn the pitfallls of political correctnes

Agree, not really appropriate. Looks like some decent rugby.
One thing of note, not one penalty in the game, a few set restarts but that was it.

On a more encouraging note, the girls/ladies/women (delete as appropriate) won again 16-24 at Bedford. Maybe the Broncos team to watch this season!!
