£4.80 at Wembley Saturday afternoon in the play-offs and only one choice available!

Absolutely. A lot of football stadium owners are exploring a 365 days a year use at their stadiums. With a 11k+ stadium to use I think that Medway may be a Championship 1 side in the next round of expansion.

| 11K stadium to use as a championship 1 or 2 team - Are you for real?
The trip to Kent has sent certain people mad. Was there a coloured mist in the air yesterday?

Who are these glass half empties you speak of ? BTW when the glass is virtually empty, looking at it as half empty is quite a postive attitude really.

when did that appear?
Great idea....now the next step is to collect the data on people at games and send them a pink to that...incentivise.....and act on the feedback.

That would be because whatever the club currently does both on and off is absolute rubbish.......as has now been shown with a sudden glut of vacancies in the back office and the review on the park!

Quickly? How much time do you want?
10,000 fans and commercially viable was never going to happen overnight, but LESS FANS AND NO Fu(i(ING SPONSORS is in no way shape or form progress at all.
By the way....the glass hasn't been half empty for over 3 years now......it's 100% empty.

Harsh to ditch East London already.
The Medway club have had about five years to get to the stage they're at now, whereas Rugby League in East London is relatively new in comparison and I imagine that in five years time the London RL will hope that Newham Dockers and Hainault Bulldogs are both as big as the Medway club are at five years old.
There was no attempt to get people from the two clubs mentioned into Brisbane Road from what I've seen, if there is an event next year at the same place (or another in East London) I would fully expect both clubs to be targeted big time.

Didn't count them because they don't have a junior section, IIRC. Whereas Medway and the two East London clubs do have junior sections.

Would this not make it difficult to sell season tickets - If 30% of your games aren't at one ground why bother with a season ticket - espic. as you know that there will be offers for the on the road games

It was definitely there in March, I filled it in after the Cas game (42-16, how good did that feel!), made numerous comments and asked questions in the comments section. Despite having to give my e-mail address, I never received answers. I've not bothered filling one in since

| I'm not embarrassed at not chanting, I don't do a lot of it.
I am embarrased that I don't know how the under 20's went, especially as I couldn't be bothered to watch it - I haven't seen anything on here and obviously the official site hasn't been updated.

| mind you i have been considering watching the under 20's and then leaving when the senior team take the field.
never been to Gillingham before, bit of a shock when we went from green fields to the town. thought i was in Wakefield.
however slagging off other towns not the agenda. i genuinely think its a good idea to take games on the road if there is interest in that town. only 2 a season but spaced out rather than two on the trot. take the game to fans if there is interest. seem to do that in OZ alot.
thought Gillingham ground was rubbish. MEMS stand was awkward seating having to sit at opposite ends in upper tier unless you were vip. ran out of programmes at 1.30pm and ran out of beer at half time. no game clock that i could see, but hull fans knew as they counted down ??? upon leaving was chatting to some Hull fans, they didnt get into the ground until just before halftime, some fiasco with purchasing tickets. saw long queue of them as i walked towards the ground. i think thats disgusting, considering these hopefully paying hull fans had travelled so far and helped swell the gate.
i did enjoy Leyton Orients ground. good view, good atmosphere, beer was cheap. i live near Twickenham so would be a wrench if had to make the trip to orient for each game knowing your going to lose. if we were more competitive then would at least take 80 min journey with hope, you wouldnt do that now.
had such high hopes we might win as many as we lose this season with new players. were they not playing at twickenham have to say i would have to consider not wasting my time to see a team so lacking in all depts. shipping 30-40 points a game and one up attacking rugby is not my idea of an entertaining afternoon out. i am season ticket holder so would have foregone my tickets, as enjoying my spare time more important than the cost of ticket i would be writing off. lose to widnes, think i wont bother making the 10 min car journey anymore until things improve. sure the season review will make things great again
anyone know why Luke Dorn not playing, probably our most potent strike player..

| In Australia, they take games OTR for a number of reasons. Mainly, if they are playing the Warriors, Like Manly going to perth this year, they don't expect a big crowd at Home, so they generate revenue through other means....selling the game to other venues. Over the last few years, other sydney sides have played HOME games against the Warriors, in New Zealand.
I don't think an NRL franchise has ever taken a game OTR with a view to eyeing up a new home and as I've never been to Gillingham I can't coment....I have been to Ostend though...that's near by.

Well spotted...... .......the club could have charged more for the bus trip (anyone take them up on the coaches to Orient/gillingham?)
Interestingly, the Manly decision to take the warriors game on the road to perth is interesting.
5,400 Km's.....up from 2,100 Km's......a northern RL fan would have a heart attack if we took a game that far away...
Do you reckon that if they get a crowd bigger than their 14,250 they will consider moving to Western Australia
If these OTR games are about spreading the word, then it's our AWAY games that should be moved.....see if the whining idiots at HKA fancy taking a game v London to Glasgow or Dublin to attract a bigger attendance
