Lovegrove did a fantastic 80 minutes MOM performance. Dwyer and Gilmore excellent. Team defended well at the end. If they can cut out the errors they will give themselves an easier ride.

Need props and a half back. Gilmore going back to widnes. Apparently 3 signings this week.

Re the prop situation, I'm assuming you mean a better quality of prop?
Because we had 5 in the 17 today.

Lovegrove was outstanding...80 mins as a prop. Fax exploited us first half with the big boys running through the middle. Second half they seemed to want to play Hollywood style and throw wide which made defence easier. Held em up well and scored on breakaway...fitness?

'Experienced Championship players', was the quote I got after the game. Not sure of positions.

Also heard we have offered a fee for a current SL half back.

Fax had more territory and their forwards made more metres than us. As I said earlier, we defended well. The players put a shift in today. Dwyer went in from 30 metres out, thought they were gonna catch him but he is quality.

Fax looked the better team for a fair amount of the game but we ground it out well and got the points.
Last 5 mins was pretty tense though.

Especially so seeing as the stadium clocks had stopped working!

As a Fax fan I am really disappointed with today's result. I thought we probably were the better team but you lads got the points. Just to make matters worse, we are currently sat in't Castle at Harrow paying £4 a pint! I'm not happy!

White and Brown injured, and Gore has hardly stepped up. To be honest i think Gilmore is more talented than Craven and Gore. We have about 11 players injured and a tough easter period of fixtures, but i am glad Tom Gilmore has played well.

Missed yesterday but sounds like a good effort.Looking forward to monday now then.

Good effort to get the points. Things seemed to improve for us in the second half but maybe the wind played its part in reducing Fax's opportunities.

Hopefully the team can take some confidence from this.

Wasn't it windy both halves? How did it hinder Halifax and not London? Come on give the team credit for the effort they put in, they dug in and played to the finish.

Of course it was windy both halves and I did give the team credit. However, given the game was tight it probably helped us close it out as we could restrict their territory by taking advantage of the wind late on with some deep kicks. The kicking actually improved as the second half wore on as initially they kicked the ball dead on at least a couple of occasions.
