I don't want to rub salt into the wounds or anything, or try and tell you things you don't already know, but unfortunately that side is arguably the worst I have ever seen in super league. Leeds should have had a cricket score in the 1st half, the amount of tries they bombed. Then took the chances in the second and wiped the floor.

Thought sfrom the game - not many. I would like to see the tackle count from the first half because while it was only 14 - 4 at the half I reckon we must have made 3 or 4 times as many tackles as Leeds and when that happens something is going to give. I honestly can't remember us having a play the ball in teh last 25 minutes - the only Quin who touched the ball was Melling when he kicked off!

As if Friday night was not bad enough, then yesterday at Upton Park, why did I pick this easy life with my teams? LOL

For the last 20-25 minutes of the match on Fri we didn't touch the ball once other than kicking off- That is no exaggeration. With 12 mins to go I said to the missus they will score 2 more in the remaining minutes-They scored 4 or 5!!!!

Leeds was my first ever away game so enjoyed the experience of a big crowd, decent beer beforehand etc. But that was as “fun” as it got. The second half was an utter embarrassment. Leeds basically took the , especially in the last 25 mins. I was stood with Leeds fans (my relatives are Leeds fans) and they mostly took pity on me – when they weren’t celebrating their numerous tries of course. The awful amateurish kit got a few comments too. I’m fairly new to RL (only started watching/going in 2008, though have a season ticket this year) so can’t compare the defeat to previous hidings but we won at Leeds last year – what the hell has gone wrong since?? Is it purely down to injuries? Anyway, amazingly it didn’t kill off too much of my enthusiasm and will definitely try and get to another away game or two later in the year.

I don't dispute that he won't be preparing the team to best of his ability for the weekend. But from his comments he's not placing any special significance on the game.

Thanks for the link, PTB. Yes, very frank and honest. In the context of the interview, not placing too much emphasis on the Salford game makes some sort of sense. He's saying that he really needs a few of the experienced players back before the team can be judged on results.

He looked awful at the start of that interview. Let's hope we DO get a result against Salford, he wants it, even if he says he doesn't.
