Yep I got it totally wrong, I didnt realize that London would be totally ineffective in the bad conditions and I totally underestimated how good Sheffield would be in them.

Blimey what a hiding & to think I almost came up to watch this. Well done Sheffield.

I have to say I agree 100% with your sentiments.
Grima is an untried and untested coach, he signed "mates" who he told us would do a job for us and has otherwise recruited average players across the board. But regardless of the standard of players he's recruited, he's had these players since November 1st in full time training and conditioning.
The end result should be a team that will rip part-timers apart and do so with relative ease.

Yep...plenty of time for it to get worse.

There is a bright side, just not for us.....

At the top level, the bunnies murdered saints.

But in 2nd Grade a team of full-timers, stuffed with NRL 2nd graders got mullahed by a team of part-time English 2nd graders!

Grima's going to have to get some performances and results out of his mates - and soon!
He's got no excuses to hide behind this season.

Just sitting here after a great day out, watching our "Full Time Professional's" thrash the part timers of Sheffield. NOT !!!!
This season was going to be different, I would be able to turn up to games wondering how many we would win by, not how many points we would lose by.
Today has proved it is still going to be the same old cr@p .
Were completely devoid of ideas & just did not compete.
Well done to SHEFFIELD who played a solid game & showed us how to win a match in this league.
I will not be wasting my hard earned money on any away matches in the foreseeable future after todays debacle.

Grima said he didn't know where we would end up but we would be competitive and play for 80 mins a game or similar. That was his commitment.

In 3 games, Dewsbury have taken us apart, Doncaster took the second half spoils, this with players in there team who didn't turn up until Thursday, followed by this debacle against Sheffield.

What it shows is that we just can't defend. Weve had 20 minutes decent rugby in 3 games.

Get it sorted Grima. Instead of a warm down day today, easy stretching, rub downs from physios etc etc whilst our upcoming opposition(s) are hard at work bricklaying, hod carrying, digging trenches, get this lot smashing into each other learning how to tackle. Take the nice environment away from them let them earn it. Get it sorted.

I don't want to hear your lame excuses on "Broncos TV" and your usual throw away clichés, just get down to the training field and get them grafting with an almighty Boll**ing underpinning it.

The weather was cold and drizzly but, actually, I thought the pitch held up quite well.

Absolutely horrific. I left after an hour.

Conditions were grim, driving rain, swirling wind and bitterly cold. Sheffield just had more grunt and used it effectively, they also completed their sets and defended stoutly.

We were just rubbish. The injuries didn't helped and probably spooked us a little bit, but there's enough experience and pedigree in the majority of our squad that we should be able to handle setbacks like that.

Nasso's distribution from dummy half was also utterly pedestrian.

Well at least that makes my decision as wether to go to Leigh or not so much easier
