Like I say, to anyone else out there, the reason they probably ran out of shirts is quite likely down to increase in season ticket sales this year on last season.
Hope they do get more stock as I have not bought one yet.

So let’s have a look at this as a business decision. The club order a set of shirts, they sell out of certain sizes pretty quick because demand is high, why is demand higher than last year? They either ordered less or more people bought them?
Not sure what Betfred sponsorship has got to do with it, unless you are suggesting that everyone that bought a shirt is going to want to replace it with Betfred on it? Pleased you think it was my rant as you put it got Championship the Betfred sponsor though.

Hmm, never intended that a post asking if the club would restock tops would get 4 pages of responses. Apologies if this post has caused bad blood as was never my intention here.

Hopefully they will get more tops in, even if they just put a pre-order status in the shop it would be great. Otherwise will wait for the Summer Bash top

or not, the fact that the club has run out of shirts before the season started shows an appalling lack of business acumen....it seems that they aren't willing to take pre-delivery orders on the out of stock goods either....from the club shop


Buy Sports Kit Pro are the supplier and they can offer free delivery on orders over 250 quid, so the lack of a pre-order option is just indicative of the lack of the left hand knowing what the right hand is doing.....as other have said, "after all...this is the Broncos"

Sundays attendance was reported by the club as near 900.
Without doubt the CMG was busier than usual before the game. That may have been down to the weather.It was cold.
We now have a new entry system, where each ticket is scanned on entry. If it worked. Then the club would know how many attended, which season ticket holders did so. Also at what time they rocked up.
But then and this is for you Monkey Boy. It is the Broncos.

You are right NB. If it a 4XL 2018 shirt did come up on EBAY. I would be in for it.

crashman, Yep it’s me that’s the argumentative one, That comment does come from a bloke who actually disagreed with me in a post when I agreed with his comment!

FWIW the bloke who actually deals with season ticket sales told me face to face the numbers, the sponsorship income is up a fair bit as well on last year, but no numbers revealed.
But as it’s not on fake book so it must be made up in some folks minds.

The situation with running out of the larger sizes. If the club are going to restock, why not get fans to pre order and even pre pay. I am sure many would do that. It would ease cash flow give the club an idea of how many to order.

Might be a good idea and a sensible way to go, have you contacted the club and suggested it?
It would not please or work for everyone tho, I actually like to try stuff first for quality and fit, I don’t buy clothes direct on line.
I get the issue that not having any XL on the hanger for game one is not the best, but back to the issue of it being a business, your initial order is on projected sales, if that outstrips your actual sales for what ever reason then it’s a business decision of what you do, make any future pre order, or buy more for the shop but then risk having excess.
From a stock point of view always better to sell out than have stuff left, if that means we miss, that’s life.

Thank you. To be fair Jason Loubser has also worked really hard to ensure things went well. Kappa was a terrible option and I held my hands up for bring that to the club. Thankfully now every club except the Wankpack have got rid of them!

Mentioned by the club in their twitter feed on the Dewsbury game. Up by 30% apparently. Now that should prompt an historical based essay.

SR well contrary to popular belief I didn’t make it up, it’s a big % increase, not massive in actual numbers but it shows improvement.

Can anyone shed light on the comparative size of an XL Jayko blue hooped top to an XL from this new supplier? Need to be sure my expanding girth will get into the shirt before I get it set 12,000 miles....really like the away strip this year....very 2005....

The shirts come up small - a bit like last years - order a size bigger than you normally would
