BTW...Allianz is not a Rugby Stadium...it is a community stadium with 3 stands that come down and make way for athletics in the summer months.....as per the agreement with the local council. The walk from the Tube stations near by is about the same as that from Twickenham to the Stoop....which I repeat, is one of only 2 Rugby Stadiums in London.

Wake up, this is just another attempt to discredit The Stoop to smooth the path for an unecessary move.

We all know that the Landlords resent us using their pitch 11 times a year in exchange for hundreds of thousands of pounds. It is well documented that Harlequins RU are rolling in cash and won't miss the equivilent of 20% of their yearly debt payments relating to the continued upgrade of their purpose built rugby stadium.
Broncos have stayed away in their thousands because of the 12 minute walk from Twickenham to the stadium.....a walk that doesn't seem to bother the big house next door BTW. The resent the tie in with a Union side and in some cases, are still confused as to what game it is we actually play.

The club has a history of moving as an alternative to rolling their sleeves up.....it with a mixture of emotions that I watch from over here as some fans seem happy to sit by and watch the clowns run the circus into the ground....

That has been well and truly done and thankfully is now put to bed!

If we had stayed at the stoop even though it would have been a bad choice it would not have effected me in any way, I have travelled to enough grounds since we left Fulham! we just could not go on with the set up at the stoop.

He'll assure everyone that a 10 year lease has been signed with no chance of any re-seeding/flooding stopping games being moved and then he will promptly off to a new job as head chef at Cafe Spice, citing the 3 years of success he had in removing the confusion surrounding the what game we play, the terrible public transport journey and walk to the stoop and the need to have a rugby kit made by a rugby kit manufacturer.

He will forget to mention on his newly polished CV that he also removed a main sponsor from the clubs shirt for over 50% of his tenure, ignored the needs of true regular fans to pander to the needs of away/casuals and not forgeting the loss of (currently,but watch this space) 41.5% of the clubs fan base.

Nah, he has moved on. He will now become the 'Pie n' Mash' King of East London, he is preparing the ground already!
