| The club is dead. PT next season with a inexperienced coach. Kids from the academy. Playing in front on 200 fans fighting relegation.
I dont kow why it continues to get to me but this just makes my blood boil. Killed the club, alienated the fan base. Turned us into a laughing stock. Total clueless. Amateur hour at the Broncos, on and off the pitch. It takes a special kind of incompetence to reach this level.
Fans deserve so much better than this

| It is really difficult to see how the club is going to turn this around for next season. None of us know what the club is doing in terms of recruitment on and off the pitch but unless we get cracking on the former we will be no better than this year and if we don’t do the latter we won’t be able to do all the things that attract an audience/ make the match day experience/ generate income and therefore we would be simply a shell.
Let’s be honest can anyone face our last home game of the season against Rovers. It is grim prospect.

| There is no plan. If the club honestly thought this squad would challenge then they seriously need to think about a new career, as everyone else could see we were miles off.
There will be no new coach, there will be no decent signings. Seriously, if we go PT we might aswell pack up.

| How much lower can the club go, we are in our worse position since Super League started. As far as I am concerned it starts at the top, the owner and the current management team. Why could they not see this time last season when every other club was signing players we sat on the fence. I can remember a certain member of the management team staing there would be plenty of top rate players in the market in the autumn, what a joke. This decision has badly effected our postion in the Championship now.

| The club should come out and tell us exactly what the plan for the future is. How are we going to build the fan base, how are we going to challenge for SL.
Reason they wont......they have no clue

Maybe Hughes should bring in Lionel Blair. He was very good on Give us a Clue!

| I really don't know why you're all so surprised.....it's not like nobody told you what would happen if the club continued with it's unhealthy reliance on one man and that man's lack of business sense. At least if we had 5,000 fans they'd let him know vocally, but as it is he is surrounded by yes men and the monkeys clique, so no doubt he doesn't think it's his fault ....
.....as for a plan. Don't be daft ....there is no plan and never has been. I called it field of dreams marketing nearly 20 years ago and nothing has changed.

| There is no plan for next season just as so far there are no players in contract/ DH, his monkey the lobster and the monkey clique are waiting to see if we are in championship or Division 1 next season. No plan, no players, no forward thinking ideas, no coach, no fans. What a sad demise of a once great club

They expect dons fans to roll up in their thousands to help them pay for their stadium. Egg chasers, as soccerboys refer to our sport have no interest in anything other than their round ball and if they do ever watch rugby or even own a rugby shirt I'd guess for the vast majority it would be a white shirt with a rose on it.
The only reasonable reason for moving to Wimbledon is that we expect to be invited into a new top tier comp and have been told we need a stadium. What many on here chose to ignore was that we were lucky to go up when we did and that type of lightening doesn't strike twice. Hughes is clueless. He's a fan....and they make the worse owners but what makes him even worse is that he has ignored the advice if the RFL and other club owners, refused to spend any amount of time or money on marketing and instead carried on flushing cash away......worst of all, he wasted in excess of 20 million in central funding.....not just his own money.
He really is the worst thing that happened to the club. If he'd walked in 2013 he'd have been able.ronsay he'd given it a go, but 8 years on, there's nothing left to walk away from and he's gone down in even the most fervent supporters estimations.
Monkey and lobster get a lot of stick on here, but Hughes is 100% to blame

| I am so pleased that following our falling out with Monkey, we made our decision to stop attending away games.
Today, I spent a lovely day on the beach with my grandson and daughter. We did not even bother to check on the score until we got home.
I think we made a good decision. Thank you Monkey.

Poor Alex. Give some posters think this forum isn't the best place for him, god only knows what watching that shyt3 did to the poor lad.....
Did I read earlier that the club sent the players up a day early and paid for their accomodation? If true, they should be made hitchhike home!

It was a lovely day, not too hot, the sea was warm. You could not ask for more.
When you think a trip to Whitehaven. Which for us means an overnight stop, probably costs us if we all go, five hundred pounds or more. I think I made the right decision!

If they can't find the try line how the hell would they find London again?

| Let's face it things are being put in place for next season . We have a mediocre coach an average team all ready for 2022 as a part time set up .
Followed London since 96 but not sure how much more of this I can put up with

| With rumours of a massive cut to central funding for League One due to be announced shortly, the next few weeks could be critical to the future of the sport as a professional sport down south. Finger's crossed both Skolars and Broncos are left standing in reasonable shape next season. Sadly, I'm not too confident...

So 2 teams with very few fans become 1 with not much if any more fans. Certainly doubt London needs 2 failing RL teams but not sure how much stronger a merged club would be. Wouldn't be against it on principle though.

| DC agreed. Skolars seem to do quite a bit of off the pitch work on engagement and diversity etc but on the pitch lose pretty much every game. ( having just re- read this They seem pretty similar to the new Broncos model).
Maybe though if we are reliant on southern based academy products and part time Aussies, one team might make a solid Champ side.

The trouble with merging Skolars and Broncos to increase the fan base is.
A lot of supporters follow both clubs and attend matches at both clubs.
So an attendance boost, it will not be.

| Answer is the same as it was in 1999, 2006, 2012, 2014 etc. Put in place a 10 year plan to build a professional self-sustaining (financially and player talent) Super league CLUB rooted in the community (wherever that may be), implement the plan and be patient. Sugar daddy is not the answer - hard work is!

Unless the laws have changed again, part time Aussies have work permit issues. Skolars used to field a few southern hemisphere lads who were living / working in London. Then work permit rules changed and they had to qualify for a work permit to play pro RL if they played for Skolars or another professional side. You can do this if they are qualified but it certainly weakened Skolars recruitment pool. There's usually a few at Hammersmith Hill Hoists who could play League One but either don't fancy the travel or don't qualify for a work permit to play professional RL.

Problem is, as a SL club we had something to sell to sponsors and fans....in 2006 for example there were 4k watching a side that had made the play offs....mclinden etc were good players and the club had a good feeling about it.
Now the stench of death hangs over a few dozen fans watching poor players and the prospect of a trip to the 2nd tier playoffs is in the balance because we can't beat part timers.....
...as for a merger with the skolars. Nobody with a grain of sanity would touch the club unless it's rid of Hughes. He doesn't make friends of "partners" and seems more adept at ruining relationships with landlords.
