just my opinion but i rekon a very small down the size of cas doesnt do too bad in the attendance stakes. all the history in the world aint going to change the fact that cas simply isnt as big a place as most other clubs in sl.

Glum Fox who is our Phil Clarke (forum stats man) has suggested it was the best crowd we've had for Cas Game since 2000. If that was down to the beer who knows

Think the £5+ Beer must have had some influence as Cas brought down their usual 400/450 and we don't have 3,500 regular fans, especially with the cack being served up on the pitch at the moment.

I would say that while I was queuing at the ticket office that from what I say at least 60/70% of the people were using the voucher. A small sample but a pretty high percentage. Who knows whether they would have been there anyway

Prominent sign at the office window however to say that there is a £3 charge for payment by credit or DEBIT card. At least that closes an old debate. A rip off because debit card payments shoulf not be charged...end of !

...nowt to do with me. If it had been, I would have announced it 2 weeks before the game and had posters up in every shop/pub/cafe in TW2.
I would also have got Castleford involved.....bolted on they would have brought double the fans they did.
Still, the idea is a good one and let's hope it's repeated a few times next year.....I would target Catalans, Celtic and Salford as they are our three lowest gates (and the games should be close affairs....well, closer than last Sunday anyway).

I know the club doesn't like giving away free tickets as they feel it devalues the product, but even then I dont understand why they dont get into the schools and fill a stand behind a goal with kids and parents on freebies for games like Cats, Salford or Celtic as a way of getting people in and hopefully getting them to come back when we play the proper teams.

I have it on good authority that there is a lot of activity going on behind the scenes that we don't see or hear about. I was going to reply back to the club that whatever they were doing, they weren't doing it right, but as many are quick to point out on here, it isn't my problem.

What kind of activity? people rushing around doing nothing is activity?
