...as I will not be renewing my Season ticket from 2010 onwards - might add BM's coaching ... hand nowt to do with my decision ... rather it's due to my total feed-up with the Club as a whole inparticular the board, the lack of real marketing investment and regret also the narrow petty mindness, cliquism and clownnish attitude of a select but vocal number of supporters.
To be frank think BM has done well as it's hard to make a silk purse of a team when the club is a pig sty!

So say NO, no, no ....... but add the note he does derserve a better Club and let's hope he get's one soon rather than latter.

I'm going to say in as I, maybe narrow mindedly for some, still believe Mac is the man for the job, for all the bad we have had nights like Leeds and Hull KR away to name but a couple. However, if we finish outside the play offs, in other words, the same league place or worse than last year, I think we have a right to know why the massive optamism about how good the squad was at the start of the season hasn't resulted in a stronger side on the pitch. The gutsy performance in Catalan with half a team missing, and the hopeless one against the Bulls last week with most of our key players there means I'm not having the injury excuse on it's own. Injuries are a part for sure, but if our strength in depth was as good as we were being told, we should have been able to do better than we have.

I hear the arguments for the wider problems around the club, but the marketing, or lack of depending on your viewpoint, has nothing to do with how we started on the ppitch against Saints or Bradford, or how we played at Huddersfield in March, or how we played in the cup against the giants.

For us on the outside looking in its easy to say in or out based on performance. Unfortunately we dont really know what's going on inside the club, financial constraints, recruitment strategies, pressure to play southerners, even personality politics etc

As with all businesses I suspect there is a requirement to undertake a review which maybe will include the performance of the head coach.

Hughesy and Mac went on record as saying we have a strong squad and will fair well. Injuries unless massive cant be an excuse in isolation. You have to plan for them. Yes we have lost vital players at the same time, similarly Hull, Warrington, even Saints this year and each of those clubs has been affected. So yes in part it can be accepted but then we should be looking at the strength of our 17-25.

The players seem to like/respect him and he is well spoken off with regards to coaching ability. Im not sure what the answer is.

Yes thats right. Nothing to do with McDermott. He managed to start so well with virtually the same squad, and that was not his doing either.

I find that a bit insulting. My point was merely that it is probably expensive to sack him mid-contract, then there is the expense of finding a replacement, with no guarantee they would be any better (and they could be worse). Pile on top of that the whole issue of ownership + finances for next year.

The idea anyone is content or happy with the performances on the pitch this year is a lie. I'm furious about what happened yesterday.
