The whole issue with the merch this year for me was the quality in general. I bought a home shirt and it's fine, but not massively impressive, especially given the wait time. I thought the away shirt was marginally better. I'm not saying we need to go into the realms of Hull FC/Castore/50 quid hoodies, however some items of better quality and design wouldn't go amiss.

So now we know new shirts before Christmas was but a fleeting hope. Still a good trick to get the email sent from the bloke who played Henry Hook in Zulu despite dying in 2005. That's the sort of Magic we need to stay in Super League. Next a reincarnation of Marty McLindon please.

Received a voucher today for 2 shirts I bought online .it said either redeem in the club shop or post voucher back with name/address. Can't the club just post them out when they're in.

The idea is that if you have bought a shirt as a gift for Christmas , you can give the recipient the voucher.

Remind me. Did we not pay P+P in which case club will need to post to me rather than we faffing about sending them my postal details again. I suspect Victor is right though that this is a way of be8ng able to give people a present in the form of voucher as shirts aren’t ready. Me I’d prefer the shirts were ready for Christmas but hey Ho the squad doesn’t look ready so why would the shirts be.

To be fair BT the shirts are normally ready long before the squad is complete. Were we not 3/4 of the way through the season before we signed Whare & Norman.

So the club website seems to have had a little bit of an update. Some new sponsor logos on the landing pages and different layouts for some of the different sections. All looks a bit work in progress but gives a hint as to who might be on the shirts next season.

Yes I noticed that. A few have gone Stubborn Rhino , Dragon Soop in to go with the 2 other energy drink suppliers. Hoping they are going to add a few more it looks a little light again.

8% far too strong a brew to appear on Premier League shirts, just another vodka based trendy drink. Hope they are paying very big bucks for us to put our name to this.

Looks like they sponsor a few other sports teams, most notably Dundee United FC. It would be good to line up someone a bit more "blue chip", but I guess we'll see how it plays out.

I did them an injustice, 7.5%, sadly I thought we'd seen the last of Alcopops but seems not. Having said that, it might be a quickish way of blotting out the potential hammerings our current Championship team might receive.

DC I think this is a shrewd bit of marketing. Strong alcohol will become exponentially more popular amongst Broncos fans the heavier the hiding we are taking from the other SL teams. Catalans game a real good test. Hopefully 50% off for ST holders. I’m in.

Horrendous logo.....strong alcoholic drink in line with attracting family driven audience and just another example of how far we've fallen.....

The seeming lack of other newbies rather like the lack of additions to the squad I’m finding more difficult to unpick in a positive manner. Let’s see what happens. A few weeks to go yet. Not many, but a few.

I also noticed they were flogging off gold lounge tickets for the Catalan game at discounted rates.....it's started early, but I can see this car crash of a season getting embarrassing for everyone except the wage thief and his employer who are immune to shame.

Away kit looks decent revisting the early SL years. Impressive launch video too. Some better creatives seem to be onboard.

Club have listened to fans and produced a quartered away kit which looks sound. On the downside the situation re sponsors has to be a concern. I’d assumed last year’s debacle was down to a really poor season in 2022 and lack of time to engage with local business and impact of change of marketing director mid stream 2022. However it begins to look like the new norm - minimal no contra sponsors. Bit of a worry as that’s a big % revenue stream for most teams.

Watson seems to be head of media now and we have two new sponsors/partners Seeen and YouBoy- not sure who does what but does that mean Key and Eagle gone?

Nice shirt but I'll wait to see how they place sponsors before buying one thanks.....and as others have said, were on TV in a few weeks for the first of 27 national awareness opportunities and the lack of anyone willing to pay to be on the shirt is a worry
