Just worked out that the guy in question is Damian Irvine. He has a decent RL admin pedigree and used to turn up on Rugby League BackChat quite a bit and made a lot of sense. He also did the commentary for one of our Our League games last season and although he struggled with the team sheet he made a decent stab at commentating and was insightful. Long story short, whilst this actual game makes no sense whatsoever, getting links with him might play out well in the long run as I think he knows what’s what and wouldn’t make the kind of crass mistakes we have been making recently.

There's a few of us that have (not many obviously) although it's not really an issue, most Eagles fans would be arriving at St Pancras or Kings Cross anyway, so it's quicker to Northfleet than Wimbledon from there anyway.

If you want to pay the high speed supplement it's about 20 minutes from St Pancras to Ebbsfleet International. It looks like parking at Ebbsfleet station is about £7.00 - slightly cheaper if booked in advance
