| £25 for a walk-up? Ouch. Seems like we are doing a nice job of trying to cater for our puny, existing fan base, but already working hard to prevent it from growing.

Not really, most clubs operate on discount for pre bought tickets. You might argue £25 for a Championship game is a bit much but if you look at AFC Wimbledon's 2020/21 ticket prices that are between £22 & £32 for a League 1 game then it doesn't look too bad. If you want to look at Brentford season tickets 2020/21 then for a top Championship club they are charging U18s £74-£124, 18-24s £269-£399 & 19-64s £419-£549 & 65+ £309-£439. On top of that you get to sit in a very ugly stadium.

There doesn't appear to be a discount for pre-ought tickets...?
Fans will be flocking to AFC Wimbledon, they don't need to work nearly as hard as we do to attract support. They have a core of 5k fans already who will be battering the doors down when crowds are allowed in. And plenty of returning fans I'm certain. We barely have 10% of that.
£25 for a Championship game is scandalous. No scope for curious locals, difficult sell to friends. This isn't professional football, it is rugby league, a minority sport. You can't compare the two.
We still don't know where we are playing FFS. We must be the first club in history of professional sport that has announced ticketing details without having a confirmed stadium. Its an embarrassment and indefensible. Major changes needed are needed at the club - same old, same old. The club will never make any progress with Hughes and his cronies at the helm.

I have to agree with Dave L here... In the south we are comparable to basketball/ ice hockey / netball. Adult tickets at Guildford Flames are 16GBP, and I think similar with surrey scorchers basketball... Max we should be charging is 20GBP for walk up's. No point comparing us to football or yawnion in the south east / south west we don't have the presence or interest down here

I don't even think this is true. There are lots saying they're downgrading from season tickets to the odd game or two, and some (like my old man) who've had enough and are calling it quits.

| The club pretty much stated in their communication that one reason for the move is to be able to fleece the fans for more money.

| I would say Monkey Boy has been employed to raise revenue, Now that is fine. And greater income for the club can only be a good thing.
His efforts should be to grow the fan base, not squeeze the current fans until they squeak. Fans numbers will drop and once lost, they will be lost for good.
In 1996 at Charlton, Broncos had crowds of over 6000, as we moved about the numbers have declined. We always pick up a few fans but always lose more than we gain.
We are down to a core of what, 500 fans. Can the club afford for a lump of those fans, who have stuck with the club through thick and thin, to walk away. I think not.

Those days at Charlton were really good and memorable, just ahead of the day at The Stoop!
Many Clubs are going to struggle this year with finance! and coming seasons are not looking good with the current Sky negotiations, how do you increase income?

| We do seem to go about things in a half d way....I know these are the most unusual of times but a considerable price hike , yet another ground move and what appears at present to be a much weaker team seems a strange way to lure in new and current supporters....

| 20 seasona in SL average london btoncos crowd think it was just short of 3700.
Think in total there have been 21 different teams in SL, Broncos were 20th on the list for average crowd numbers.

| I dont think they will lure in supporters. We are not in SL this season. After this pandemic where finances are tight we should have stayed at Trailfinders with the same pricing for one more season and built for a SL place. Bookies have us at anywhere from 4th to 6th place so are not supporting us in SL next season. No friendlies so far announced this season so why move and why price hike. Its sad but whoever had the final say on this is blinkered and could cost the club a lot of their long term fans especially if this page is anything to go by.

| Northernbloke. Do you not think that Broncos SL attendance figures are not affected by the number of away fans attending our games.
I will accept our home fanbase has never been massive, but our away fan numbers have I believed declined for may reasons.
The close proximity of the Super League teams in the North makes away fans attendance to games easy within the Yorkshire or Lancashire groupings.
Inflating crowd numbers, these insular fans can watch an away game and be home in time to take the whippet out for a walk.
Sure St Helens to Hull KR is a bit of a stretch, but it is all Motorway between the two. An easyish day out.
Fans used to come away to London games and make a weekend of it. Now Catalan is seen as a better option which is quite understandable.
Catalan is possibly a cheaper weekend than a London weekend in truth.
Home fans is London Broncos problem for sure. Not enough of them and the club also does its very best at times, to pee off some of those that they still have.

| We will attend some games but not all. We are going to hold off on membership at least until Bradford game and make a decision then on what we do this year, We will probably attend bradford game (if allowed), but not with my dad as want to take a view of the public transport trip as can't park there.
I think tbh we won't bother with membership and pick games we attend (25 for ticket + 20 for train / bus dad would be 18 ticket). I can see us going to bradford, halifax, tolouse, york, widnes games at max (not going to fev game if on public transport, they have a lot of great fans, but they also have an undercurrent of supporters which I would not like to be stuck on a bus with).
Now if it was 15 or 20 a ticket, I might have been persuaded to go to games like Oldham, Worky, Batly etc but not for 25GBP + travel costs....
Will know better after Bradford game

| I'm hopeful to catch a couple of home games this season and maybe squeeze in an away trip. there again if the streaming takes off and isn't excessively crap I may just sit on my fat round butt and enjoy more beer at home, lol. Bookies have us 4th to 6th they say, but quite frankly I'm looking at the Championship and can see almost anyone winning it and almost anyone going to League 1, lmao!

The point being made (quite rightly) is that our SL attendances are more influenced by away fans than other clubs. We used to be seen as a good away trip (perhaps when the club made more of an effort to have a matchday experience). So not only has the home fan base steadily dwindled but the travelling fan is now showing up in fewer numbers.
