My thoughts entirely.

I am traveling there tomorrow hoping for a win. However if we lose, we lose. Last year we lost to Leigh first up and that season ended okay.
If we are going to make it back to Super League, then the standard that we will have to achieve will be that or higher than Catalans.
We just have to learn from the experience.

I would leave Barthau and Evans out for this one. Roqica has had his best games in the last 2 (starting to drive harder and show more aggression) and think it would be good for him and us to carry on that momentum. He would also be more of a handful for a SL side to handle. Barthau, I would prefer to give an extra week rest/training and bring him back (potentially) stronger next week. It's a great feeling to be in the position when we are struggling to pick the 17 because of how good everybody currently is!

Gigot has been suspended for a drugs test related issue.
There are just some folk that you don't argue with in the world, in this case drugs testing officials, just nod say yes sir no sir and smile. Argue with em or make there lives difficult then you get what you deserve.
For those going to Perpignan this weekend, the nice blokes sat in passport control smile do as they ask and go on your way, am sure we all generally do this, it's the same principle.

Northernbloke we have said it about a lot of the ex players because until Henderson we have not had a coach for years who has been capable of developing players. Sargy, LMS, CLubb the list goes on. Lets hope we can now develop and keep the players we have trained through our academy

Difference between the 2 teams, ptb speed simple.
Excellent performance from our boys, with about 15 gone in second half I thought we were going to come out winners.
Some really good scrambling defence and they competed well, matching the Catalans in nearly every part of the park.
Negatives, junior although pretty good in defence succumbed to the tackle far to much when
he was the ball carrier. Too many times the dragons ball carrier got a quick ptb as they nearly always landed on there knees and elbows, we were invariably on our back.
