| Yes sad day Joey has gone, wish him all the best whatever his troubles may be.
Most of the players and staff are there because they bought in to Joey's vision of London. Need to find a similar enthusiast or we may find more drifiting away.

A rhetorical question - Would I be correct, that you never paid and watched Salford play while Noble was head coach?

| Sorry that Joe has gone, he did seem to be behind a lot of structural improvements. Hendo may be able to do the coaching job but I doubt he'll have the vision or time to look after the other stuff. Also, you have to wonder how the guys recruited by Joe are going to react to his departure.
Difficult times (again!) and no obvious candidate to slot into the gap.
Thanks and good luck Joe.

What did you suggest they did? Imprison him?
If the man's got family troubles there's not much the club can do about that.
I've been more than prepared to criticise the club in the past, but you can't hang this one on them.

| Did I hear Tony Rea on the commentary for the WCC games?
Let's go for a good number 2 Aussie working in the NRL with a reputation and toughen the club up. McGuire esq at Wigan.

Perry....I have supported this club for many years..I was (until this year)a season ticket holder, along with my family for 10 years.....I have pumped quite a bit of my hard earned income into its coffers..If Joey has problems then he has my genuine sympathy and I wish him nothing but a bright future..But yes..I am a fair bit ed off at another let down in a long history of let downs from the club .. If Joey has had reservations about his future in London for the last month or so then D H should have been sounding out others about the role and not kicking us long suffering fans in the nuts again and expecting us to grin and bare it while we fanny about yet again..A lot of us are on the brink of kicking our support into touch and this is another nudge in that direction..

| Paul Cooke of Doncaster wouldn't be a bad shout, he's done a very good job imo at Donny with next to no money available. Steve Mccormack would also be a very wise choice if he's willing to take the job, knows this division very well and has a good track record.

| I hope that all works out for Joe, it is reported that the club tried to work things out, but it was Joe's decision. We do need to find the right guy and quickly.

Agree, Joey wasn't the answer but was hugely enthusiastic.
What we needed was and is a defence....We don't seem to have one.
And now it would appear, a coach too! Would love to see Nobby, even if we could only afford him part-time....
Hey.....Whats TC up to these days? Could we afford him? Would he come back?

| Answer to that one is pretty easy don't think that many people said that mainly 1 person. I personally think the bloke put his heart and soul into the job, you can see that in his face when he was interviewed, maybe that didn't help.
Good luck to the fella

| He brought a group of players together full time on a significant budget, coached them for a number of months as a group, and in the first few games the team looked clueless against part time opposition.(Leigh being the exception). Early days I accept.
He was at the club the year before so knew the culture. He looked like a rabbitt in the headlights after the Sheffield game

| Some people on Twitter seem to think Bobbie Goulding is interested in the job. He's said (allegedly) that he would be up for it, as claims we have a good squad just need a few dogs in it
What's everyone's opinion on here, as he's not been in the game for a while

He failed in France and has made anti-London comments in the past. Avoid - though you would get some mongrel in the team!

| I saw an interview with Andrew Henderson where he stated that the best coach he played under was Terry Matterson - I was disappointed,I thought he may have named someone else.
Anyhow,as a former player with London, now an assistant at Gold Coast Titans who are currently mired in a drugs enquiry and under the control of the NRL,
he may be interested as he has stated an intention to be a head coach again.
There is also the rumour that should Dr Marwan Koukash purchase the Gold Coast club they may relocate.
He is a good friend of Henry the head coach at Titans but he did get Castleford promoted into Super League after initially taking them down.

| I also thought of Jim Dymock, but sometimes going for an ex player is more on sentiment than rationale thought. I think an experienced coach is needed. Kear isnt a London fan, so i would rule him out. Still think Noble, even part time is worth a punt - otherwise open to suggestions

| Liked Matterson as a player. I thought that opinions were mixed as to his coaching ability at Cas, but he certainly developed into a first class whinger at refereeing decisions.

| Jimmy Dymock has been assistant at the Bulldogs for a few years now and also had a successful period in temporary charge a couple of seasons back. No idea if he'd be interested but I'd be on the phone to find out. Also be looking at David Fairleigh, ex Sts prop who's been coaching the Cook Islands for a few years and done well with them.
