Hull KR have also signed an outstanding winger, Ken Sio, from Parramatta Eels, who was one of the leading try scorers in the NRL before he got injured.

| The 3-year-deal might come back to bit him on the backside if Rovers are one of the 4 clubs to go down to the Championship at the end of next season with us having a very good probability of moving back up to the Super League with our full-time squad.

| I think this is panic move , it seems hkr are the only team that have come in for him and hes panicked as hes desperate to play super league , hope it goes well for him but just think hes been a bit shorted sighted here. Also regarding the loyalty side of it i do feel a bit aggrieved as it seems we've spent a year getting him fit which I'm sure cost alot of money medical and time wise to get him ok and now hes off , just wondering if the rfl pays for any of the medical bill as it was with England he got injured rather than us ?

Wouldn't the club ( or any club) have an insurance policy to cover this sort of thing when a player gets injured on international duty?
Trouble with player loyalty is that it appears to be an outmoded concept - Dixon is an SL quality player so wants to play in SL, but I do understand why you feel hacked off by his departure. Most of the big clubs wouldn't touch him until he can prove his fitness long term, KR have taken a punt and if it works out they'll have a cracking player the next few seasons and he'll be able to get himself a move to a big club and maybe full international caps ( next World Cup in mind no doubt).
I hope he does well, not all of our lads have done well after leaving London - hoping he's more LMS than Mike Worrincey!

Mikey still played 49 times in two years for Bradford so he can't have been that bad at that stage. Just a pity his career didn't kick on afterwards.

| How many London born players will be playing in Super League next season then? Caton-Brown, Dixon, LMS, Clubb, Sarginson, Channing...

| Fair play to him he obviously wants to stay in SL and there probably isn't the interest from the bigger SL clubs who have better options already available to them. If you look at Saints, Leeds, Wigan etc they have quality wingmen to spare. I don't see HKR ever being a challenger for silverware, the insular nature of their culture prohibits that, the same problem affects Hull FC to a lesser extent.

| Well good luck to him. Not really a surprise the announcement was coming. As others have pointed out the big clubs are pretty settled. HKR may not be such a bad choice though they seem to be rebuilding yet again. Dixon is a wing and also wasn't fullback his preferred position originally. He brings flexibility to a club that doesn't have an out and out full back, he'll get far more game time than at say Leeds and KR should be on at least the fringes of the top 8.

| Interesting to see the KR has either lapsed into M62 mentality already or he is not really that sure where Hull is, apparently he is moving his family from one side of the country to the other, I would suggest London Hull is end to end ish not side to side.
ah well will look forward to him playing against us in the super 8 ' s part of next season.

Yes I have.
After 23 rounds the bottom four clubs in Super League and top four Championship clubs have their own end of season event – called The Qualifiers and played over 7 rounds – from which the top three secure Super League status for 2016. Those teams that finish the Qualifiers in fourth and fifth spot meet in a one-off match to decide who becomes the lucky 12th for the following season’s Super League campaign. Rovers & Broncos could easily be in that middle 8, meet each other in the qualifiers, and their Super League positions reversed in the 4 team P&R.

| Bottom line is that Dixon cannot tackle, and the London coach and many current and future London players will know that.
Expect that if London plays Hull KR in the middle 8 playoffs in 2015, the London attack will be rolling down Dixon's wing.

| He's an outstanding attacking talent. He has much more than mere foot speed; he reads play quickly, can improvise and converts a very high proportion of his line breaks into tries.
His relatively poor defensive record is partly a factor of playing in a struggling team and having a procession of ineffective centres inside him.
Good luck to him.

Agreed, my lasting memory of him will be the excellent hat trick he scored against Bradford at Wycombe. The intercept and length of the field try was worth the admission alone. A decent coach will be able to improve his defence - look how Sarginson's defence has improved at Wigan. Good luck Kieran, hope to have you back in a London shirt at some point in the future.

Rubbish. I have seen his feeble attempts to feign tackles, where he just runs to and bounces off the attacker. The boy cannot tackle. End of story.

Do you know your ar$e from your elbow?
I rather used to like your posts but of late you have become a bore. Go start your own forum and give us a rest.
Dixon may not be the greatest defender, but neither was Offiah. But what Doug Laughton did was give Offiah a good centre and second row to look after him and do the defensive shift, thus keeping Offiah fresh to rip the living .... Out of the opposition defence.
Trouble is London has not had a decent centre or second row to support Dixon. I'd sooner see Dixon scoring the sort of tries he does than a beef cake winger who can only tackle due to volume and bulk.
But I am sure you will have some pathetic retort in spiffing good English old chap.
I will miss see Dixon in a London shirt, a bigger loss than Clubb, LMS, Sharp and Sargison put together. I for one hope he kicks on and then sticks it in your pipe and force you to smoke it!
Now crawl off and stop trolling.

Yes he isn't the greatest tackler, but put a decent centre inside him and watch him go. He'll score more than he concedes, which will make for entertaining games.
