That's the way it seemed yesterday. I was talking to the Barnet community officer who is also now the Broncos community officer. They are going to get the kids to play league. They are inviting southern based clubs to play minis before games (Southend Spartans for Salford game).

From what I heard from the Hive staff they have ideas and want it to work. They see developing the kids is the way to get future fans and increase revenue.

Well I got my first e-zine styled email from the club today, the first since 16 August, but nothing new in it, but a start.

The only way to make Gus sit up & take notice is to take him out & shoot him.

I have emailed the John Meir (Commercial Manager) at the Hive and asked him if he can let whoever made the mistake know so they don't repeat it. I don't know if it is his department or not but hopefully the message will get through.

That would be far to easy !! Too many on here love to find the faults .... and there it ends. How about solutions, like a quick email to advise of the issue. In fact some so consistently look for fault I have no idea why they havent moved their allegiances on to another club ?

Tony Kleanthous fronted up on Saturday and was honest enough to admit there would be issues, faults, mistakes along the way as we move forward but he committed to ensuring these would be ironed out. I am no Gus Mackay apologist but he seems to be an easy target for all comers and with a skeleton staff, I think its natural one or two things get through the net.

This obsession by some Bronco fans with our CEO, is way over the top and a bit like schoolboys ganging up in the playground. For Chrissakes move on...Gus is not to blame for the meltdown of this club.

The team performances over the last few years are the major reason we are where we are and why people have stayed away (and Gus has nothing to do with the team or the coaching).

I agree, Id like him gone but how Gus is supposed to be instantly personally responsible for everything including website, playing staff, shirt manufacturing, sponsors, twitter, facebook, media etc. when he had to lay off everyone is beyond me.

The total obsession with one bloke by some on here is, imo, not only very boring, but a bit weird also.

As someone who has worked in an office environment all my life i have seen many instances of people get hold of confidential data they are entrusted with and not treat it as carefully as they have been asked to by the company resulting in cockups like this one. People get hold of passwords because they have been trusted with them/stole them whatever. It doesn't mean the club etc. did something wrong themselves or were negligent. Time people on here got some perspective.

No doubt if you were around at the time you'd wouldn't see the fuss about Rome burning whilst Nero fiddled.

If the club wasn't a hobby and/or tax dodge for David Hughes he would have been shown the door years ago.
