Putting aside my own low opinion of his conduct in the media in 2013, the main issue with Clubb is fitness. He's injury prone. I'm a bit surprised one of the elite clubs has taken him on, but he may well prove me wrong and go well. 4 year deal - nice work if you can get it...

As others have suggested the fitness/injury issue is key here, particularly as he'll e expected to pay with more speed and intensity than he has ever done before

One can but hope that this time next year there will be outbursts about him being sick of benchwarming.

Re Clubb being injury prone, not sure I agree with this. It's only been this season that he's missed a lot of games and the first absence was due to illness rather than injury.

As for his latest comments on the BBC, I'm sure he was sick of losing, but I doubt he was more sick than we fans were.

I'd have liked to have heard his opinion as to why we were losing...he offers no insight as to why Broncos have been so poor.

I have seen a lot of abuse aimed towards Clubb this year but what he has said here is probably the thinkings of every single London Broncos fan who uses this forum.

The difference being Clubb was being paid to act like professional and contribute towards the shower yet we actually had to stump up our hard earned to watch it. The bloke is an embarrassment.

Indeed, unlike those of us who post on here, Clubb was in a position to do something to avoid embarrassing defeats.

Ridiculous statement to make. Do you really think that one man in Clubb's position could change that side? A Soward in the halves, yes, but Clubb, no.

Clubb has been let down by the club as much as the fans have been. I feel for him and wish him the best, no reason to be bitter.

Clubb is probably correct in what he thinks, but there is a way of behaving and conducting yourself which sadly he has fallen well short of. As far as I am concerned he can clear off and hopefully rot on the Wigan bench or South Wales Scorpions.

I'm not bitter, just pointing out he needs to accept some responsibility himself for the performances he is slamming.

I take it, you listy and the other half dozen fans we have left for 2014 will give him a suitable welcome when he plays at the stoop (for the scorpions in the C cup that is)
