| Exactly, he was pestering Danny ward pitch side after 15 to get on.
He even looked he was barking instructions to relay on the pitch.

| First what does go on in the week? nothing seems to be learned at all but One Talented Player! can come on and virtually turn the game on it's head for a period. Why was Jamie Soward able in minutes to start working with the players, positioning them, encouraging them, all something that Rea seems totally unable to do! Well done Jamie just wish you stay was more than just a few months.
Did we get carried away far too quickly with the return of Rea at the end of last season, was he given the role without thinking seriously, no it's time for Rea to leave for the last time, he simply can't do it any longer. We accept we have a lot of raw young players, who need direction & encouragement simply something that Tony does not seem able to deliver.
Told that Jamie has many media interviews set up for the next week, if only we had the team, we may draw in some fans just to see him!

| What I struggle with is the fact we can't tackle one on one. Wheeldon, Sargison ...... are utterly useless.
Its like watching local park rugby.
TR should just have them tackling all day every day until they can do it. If they dont improve in this area we will continue to chase games. I've said it many times the tackling technique of our youngest is poor and its now flowing into the first team. For some reason we dont tackle with our shoulders, it's just arms
Defence is utterly pathetic

| The amusing fact is that Rea first left us to be a defensive coach
He should feel ashamed.

| Hopeless. Soward provided some inspiration when he came on but really, the damage had been done within the first twenty minutes.
People might say 'look at Rea has got to work with' but I'm not seeing any progression, any sort of response from him. The same mistakes being made in 2011 are happening now. He's just as hopeless because his coaching clearly isn't having any effect. We've got all these players who are apparently off at the end of the season, well if there's still a club around then, he absolutely must go too because he simply isn't up to the job.

Just watched the first half tries from Salford, and it was more painful than live! how can a team keep going on the pitch week after week and defending like that, what does Rea do at training, does he do any coaching, we got too carried away with a few weeks at the end of last season and now it seems more a holiday for him as well. At least Jamie was showing players their positions and encouraging them!
Completely agree with you, rugby league is a business and not just jobs for the boys, you have to be Ruthless! Rea needs to go now before we start looking at any recruitment, but as you say that is IF we survive!

| I spoke to TR in the bar after the débà cle at Gillingham, he looked and talked like a broken man who didn't know what else he could do. Time for him to move on.
Jamie Soward's biggest contribution, by a country mile, was the way he marshalled the defence. Yes we have lots of poor 1-on-1 tacklers, but that is compounded by the lack of positional awareness. It doesn't matter how good your tackling technique is, if you're not close enough to the ball carrier to make contact, you're never going to tackle him.

| Jamie Soward showed us exactly how bad the coaching is. The coaches job is to get the best out of his players. The fact that a bloke who had just stepped off a plane and only seen the team play for 20 mins could have such an impact on the energy level and organsiation of the team is telling.

| Did anyone see Soward's celebration after scoring his try... blowing smoke from his pistols & holstering them? He must have thought he was Billy the Kid... fantastic. We need a cocky, confident player in our squad big time & we now have one.
