| So glad I went up to see that win. It was either watching us away and shouting for the team or yet another dull sedentary afternoon watching the Olympics. Watching our victory was easily the best option. I'm even getting my hopes up for a win on Friday, now wouldn't that be marvellous! Proud to be a Broncos supporter.

How many went? Best away following for a while I guess. Well done.

Must have been between 2 to 3 dozen that I could see in some sort of Broncos garb spread throughout the ground. The majority of them were behind the sticks on the south terrace.

| Millward was saying that Cas had 8 out injured.
Well, we were missing:
2 Liam Colbon
5 Michael Robertson
11 Shane Rodney
15 Karl Temata
17 Jason Golden
19 Dan Sarginson
20 Matt Cook
That's 7, plus our squad is one man light because of the Hickey farce, and Lovell was out ill.
So, pretty much even on the numbers.

| enjoyed watching the highlights which is a novel experience. What's pleasing is how many line breaks we made, which we almost never did under Powell. The other thing you notice is how effective we are when Dorn is actually given a bit of the ball, something Powell never seemed to grasp. He couldn't seem to notice that in Dorn we have a fast, elusive, instinctive try-scorer who's only a luxury player if you play him out of position or leave him exposed when the rest of the backs don't do their job.
Hopefully we can carry this through to a competetive display on friday. I'm not expecting any miracles but a solid showing live on Sky would be carthartic after some of the earlier debacles.

Not to mention the surprise of watching O'C shake off 4 tacklers before racing away and then delivering a spot-on pass to Dorn for a try.

| Great day out with good company. Gower was immense. They reduced the silly penalties and played like a team.
'Home in a taxi' was the best song from our support in the Railway End.

| A few years ago at Warrington it was like the Lee Briers and A N Other show with Lee being involved in just about every play and as the old adage went, if you stop Lee Briers, you stop Warrington.
Warrington were amongst the also rans year on year despite signing two or three decent players and seeming on paper to be more competitive. It is only three years since they had to beat Harlequins in the last game to finish above us and remember the 60 point smashing they got from us, great memories.
This season it has been the same for London Broncos with Craig Gower being on the ball constantly but with the same effect as Lee Briers - a great ball player but lacking in pace. Witt has been the A N Other and frankly anonymous for large parts of the season.
Gower has had the ball in his hand more than twice as much as Witt (501 carries to 221) and made more than twice as many metres (2283 to 985).
Against Castleford it was not a senior partner and a junior partner but two equal partners and Michael Witt was magnificent.
As for Luke Dorn, a player who has scored over 115 tries in his 181 appearances for us, he was very badly handled and utilized by the previous regime but turned things on again because of the excellent man management of Tony Rea accessing him in the right way.
In theory we have a strong spine to the team with the five ball players of Dorn-Witt-Gower-Rinaldi/Randall-Bailey and Tony Rea has started to access this from the players.
Just think if Tony can beat Hull KR he will have 3 wins from 7 to match the previous regimes 3 from 20 and if he can pull off one more on top of that that will be 4 from 7.
It was a great day at Castleford. I was expecting to be surrounded by little thugs as I was for my previous 4 visits but not so, so it felt like a welcome!

'"
You can split your 6 and 7 which it would seem TR has done reading your post, or use them as first receiver second receiver which is what Powell did hence the imbalance in the stats-Its not about junior/senior
