| Latest BBC report on the crisis may have a clue in it:
[urlhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/18686404[/url
The RFL are seemingly paying £200,000 a month for players wages (my maths says £2.4M a year) against a salary cap of £1.6M a year.
No wonder the Bulls are £1M light a year.

| Quote ="Londo06"Potter told SSN that he poked the fire when the initial fallout happened a while back and the feelers he put out were in Australia, not in this country. He will prob end up as a Toyota Cup coach or attack coach for a Super 15 club before London realises there is someone with a mortgage on their home, and they want a job for now and the 2013 season onwards.
Say what you like about Rob Powell, but his face just does not fit, I would move heaven and earth to get Mick Potter onboard as an adviser till the end of the season before taking on the role as head coach next season, or earlier if he wants it. Get on the phone David Hughes, the telephone call costs very little.'"

What are you on? Why would a Bulls fan blame London for the totally incompetant management of our club? By the way you should be in line for a three figure score on Sunday as you will probably be playing the academy lads if we can get some one to man the turnstiles etc.

Calm Down! on several websites and your local paper several fans, not all! were claiming yesterday that why was London treated differently, I was simply pointing out that the RFL have stood by Bradford Bulls and some of the fans have been exceptional in the way they give to the £500,000 raised and season ticket holders saying they will pay entry money this weekend to help the cause.

| What are the match odds for this game?
Surely being second favourites in a game against a team on the verge of extinction and who sacked their entire coaching and backroom staff has got to be a new low for our joke of a club.
We should get Hughes to give his money to Bradford and turn the Broncos into glue.

| Well the Bradford team aren't allowed to train. We have no coaching staff and bugger all idea as to what is going on at our once proud club.
TBH, if there's any London fans who are in two minds about making the trip this weekend, I'd suggest you do it because there's a good chance you'll be going home with the points.
As for Mick Potter going to London. I think he'd work wonders for you guys. He didn't have the best of first seasons at Bradford, but to be fair to him, his recruitment was hamstrung by a fat aussie mercenary called Matt Orford. This season is a far better reflection of his abilities. Even with everything that's happened off the field and the huge amount of injuries to key players Bradford have had this season, we're fighting for a top 6 place. Admittedly, that's probably all for naught once the penalties for going into administration kick in. But I'd have felt much better about things if Mick Potter was staying on for a 3rd year as Bradford coach as I feel we'd be a much stronger side next year.

Who says they can't train, unless Bradford pay their player insurance month to month, and players should have their own personal insurance covering them for out of work-time injuries that affect their ability to earn a wage.
Why can't they go down to a local park and make do, attempt to pull together while they are still earning, and then all go their separate ways when the RFL stop bankrolling the wage bill, or the club goes to the wall.

| The French coach isn't full time so Potter could do the Broncos job as well.
Sign him up now as he's out of work!
It would be ironic if Potter went to Odsal as London coach to face the Bulls.
Feel sorry for the Bradford fans this sounds just so awful.
Also I think you guys deserve a break and Potter could turn your team's fortunes around.
That squad of yours would be top eight easily with Potter in charge.

good idea but ....
although the french post isn't 'full time' the new man will be expected to be very much hands-on and proactive in RL at all levels in France from kids to international level with a re structuring plan to implement so I would imagine most of his time would be spent in France

If Bradford are in administration it is likely that all of their insurances have been cancelled and the administrators will then look to provide some form of insurance for tangible assets.
Playser cannot get personal cover for professional sports cover cost effectively and any individual Personal Accident insurance they may have will exclude professional sport.
Therefore, it is possible that the players are uninsured and as Rugby is a contact sport and they could suffer serious injury easily in training they will have been advised not to do anything until the question of insurance is resolved. IIRC, the RFL has paid the PA cover for the players last week...
Poor sods

Interesting article by Sky this morning, which looks at the income of Super League Clubs. O am sure there is not only Bradford with problems,
Typical Super League club
[uIncome[/u
TV deal £1,200,000
Gate receipts/Season tickets £1,600,000
Sponsorship/Corporate/Advertising £500,000
Retail £500,000
Others e.g Lottery £200,000
TOTAL £4,000,000
[uExpenditur[/ue
1st team players £1,800,000
Other players £500,000
Staff £600,000
Stadium costs £300,000
Retail costs £250,000
Other costs £450,000
TOTAL £3,900,000
Now lets try to adjust this to an approx income/expenditure for our club, is GF asleep now I wonder? Anyway our season tickets income will be much lower, same with sponsorship & advertising, and I should think lottery income will be much lower? and merchandise???
The expenditure, our staff costs may be lower? stadium costs we know approx what our landlords charge!
Just How Many clubs then in Super League will be making a profit?
