| Must admit if we can't get people to go for 99 quid season tickets it really is time to pack up and go home. I do recall the fate of Haringey Greyhounds ice hockey club though. Back in my London days they were playing at the lowest level of senior hockey and allowed people in for free. They put together a good side, based around a rather talented Nordic player who happened to live locally and played for love of the game not money, won the league and packed people in. Over a thousand for some games. After promotion they started to charge. One pound initially, the crowds plunged down to around a hundred and fifty or so tops with more ceasing to attend when it rose to a fiver a month or two into the season. I also remember a friend who all but stopped watching Quins RL as he thought paying 25 quid for a kids season ticket was a disgrace after they stopped being free. Establish a perception that something should be cheap and it's often very difficult to get people to pay a sensible rate further down the line.
Fingers crossed we will get people in and they will stick around when we start pricing more realistically. Anyway I'm off to battle the ticketing system again. Didn't manage to buy a ticket yesterday thanks to various error messages and issues...........

Unless that was sarcasm. In which cases that was simply a panto reference.

| Well I think its a good idea as it will get people sat together in the middle and more chanting and cheering going on. Hopefully the crowds go up and they can go back to numbered seats in a year or two.

| To get a ticket by phone you are welcomed by Harlequins Rugby League! £5 charge made for the ticket which consists of £3.00 debit/credit card and £2 for some unknown reason. No charge if done by cheque. So much for the re-branding exercise. Cheque in the post.

| Bring a mate you lonely sod or leave your sarnies on the seat. Sit on there lap if they dont move!
I suspect unallocated seating will reduce the need for some of the yellow coats.

| It does seem a shame that those who would like a reserved, guaranteed seat in a particular place (e.g. halfway line in the west stand) can't have that delivered to them. Not that its something I'm after.
Maybe if they got a Loyal and Loud block going in the west stand...strength in numbers and all that!

| Half way line in the east stand is what I was after-Its took me years to get the right seat & now Listy will be slavering on it whilst taking notes for his Sunday morning drunken rant on here
Where is the exclusivity, lets allow some fans to escape flat cappers for 80 mins at least

Nor me.
But I suppose the club could make this an add-on option at any time over the next couple of months if those that want it make enough noise.

Why is it?
The ticketing system is the same ne used by the landlord. Regardless of what the club are called or the colour of their shirts...so long as the club stay at the stoop they will use the stoop ticketing service.
I am starting to believe that a Rugby League fan would complain about winning the lottery if the numbers came out in a different order
I have just spent $430 (215 quid) on a Warriors membership.....I now have 13 flights to book.....at about $180 each, 13 hotel nights at $100 and the other "sundries" like cabs etc.....so about $7000 for the season and you're all worrying about 99 quid and someone nicking your seat.....FFS, there will be plenty of empty ones.

This is nothing to do with the ticketing system. I am pretty sure you can buy reserved seats for union.
FWIW, i will switch to cheaper option if seating is a free for all.

It is nothing to do with the ticketing system. What is ludicrous is pricing premium half way line tickets the same as ones on the try line. Absolutely bonkers and just throwing money away. Seems to me all you get for the super bronco is a car parking space and a super bronco bar - which isnt even the players bar. That will cost you £100 extra be you a super stud or a dray horse.

| Additionaly, this means the seats are essentially now on a first come first served basis. Lots of people like to be safe in the knowledge they can turn up 5 minutes before kick off and take their usual seat. Maybe we could all bring our beach towels and claim a seat on the halfway line at 1pm before retiring to the bar for 2 hours? Or send somebody along early if you are going to be late to reserve 5 seats. 'Sorry, these seats are taken' 'no they aren't'
