| Either Bradford are , or we're finally turning the corner with a more threadbare squad than ever. Hopefully Temata and Purdham are back soon to turn this into league points.

| F/T now.
Well, we weren't the biggest losers tonight.
Quote ="Mr Sheen"Either Bradford are poop, or we're finally turning the corner'"
I would be tempted to say the later, but we are backing up a good performance against Huddersfield, so there is some reason for optimism.

| well wasnt bad. We all wont know what we played like for the full 80mins until we hear from someone there,as we only had little reports from bbc leeds.
But from what little we did hear sounds like we were under pressure for long peroids and held out, so thats an improvement. now all we got to do is get a bit more in attack and we get a win soon im sure.
with some more bodies back soon(i hope),maybe then we can start a game with a better bench so have a bit of strength coming of it.

| More good news on the injury front, just as we get Gale back:
Quote Harlequins coach Brian McDermott [… saw David Howell (calf) and Luke Williamson (head) pick up injuries.'"
If Howell is injured that means there is no recognised centre at the club.

| Struck me as a very enthusiastic performance from Quins, albeit a lot of handling errors which some other teams would have punished you severely for. We were in control for most of the game, but seemed incapable for much of it of turning pressure into points. Your coach cannot fault the effort, and your tails were very definitely up when you scored and we looked to be doing a "last season".

For future reference www.rugbyleagueontv.co.uk has all the commentary audio links. I had a link to a commercial radio full match commentary of the game tonight but obviously too late now.

| Harlequins coach Brian McDermott, who earned cult status during his playing days at Bradford as a fearsome prop, saw David Howell (calf) and Luke Williamson (head) pick up injuries.
But the former Bulls forward refused to be downbeat after his side's latest reverse.
He said: "I don't think kicking ice buckets and screaming that we've lost another game is the way to go.
"I praised them for the good things that we are doing. I know Bradford are not star-studded, but to compete with them and push them, I've got to be proud of that."

Hmm, I'd take Orford and Menzies.

Dunno, didn't see it, but if you say so, I'll have him as well.

| It was a great game on friday - We competed for the full 80 mins
it had been raining through the day so the pitch was still damp and obviously the ball was a bit greasy causing handling errors on both sides
we were unlucky on a couple of occasions not to score but our defence on the line was fantastic
the injury to Howell meant we had to play people out of position but a strong performance across the field with a spirited display
a vast improvement in the kicking game now that Gale is back
a good time was had by all

| Glad to hear that there are signs of improvement, Quins Bull.
My brother-in-law (a Londoner living in Halifax) went to the game and said more or less the same as you (he also said Quins away crew were noisier than the Bulls fans.)
Onwards and upwards Quin!

Good to hear that - I thought Gale would make a difference. Assuming that carries on (and why shouldn't it?) what happens when Dorn is finally back? Is there a place outside the halves where he could play his support game and not have to try to be creative (we saw what happened there last year, talking about kicking games!)?
