Do you reckon they will cease to exists altogether or just drop a league? It would be a shame to see them go to the wall. If they do though there is always Skolars who don't get the attention they deserve either.

I'm keeping everything crossed that things will be sorted out very soon and that there will be a competitive Quins RL club in Superleague next season.

The DW Stadium is owned by the Football Club and managed by Wigan Football Company Ltd.

Its not suprising though really when you think that it is these three clubs who are in danger of loosing their franchise for 2012. The rest of the SL clubs aren't that bothered because it doesn't really affect them. If the situation comes around again in a few years time, and it is another club not in the three named, which is at risk at loosing their franchise at the same time as quins (or whatever the London team will be called at the time) is receiving "assistance" from the RFL, you may find that they have a thread dedicated to it.

There should be a level playing field as far as the franchsire applications go - the fans of the three clubs concerned are interested in this latest development, as it would appear as yet another potential example where the RFL are helping a team in an "expansion" area out - whereas they would not necessarily do the same for a heartlands club.

Not a go at your club, but to me the RFL might as well just say to Wakey, Cas and Salford that they are the only three clubs in danger (which appears to be pretty much the case) and save the other clubs from wasting the time and effort in submitting a franchise application.

The whole point in franchise application is to improve the game and bring it into the 21st Century is it not ?, the RFL in their ernest set out the criteria in which they expect a club to operate, such as ground condition, Acadamy systems, and FINANCIAL stability, ie: no debt, should the RFL bail out the Quins and then give them a franchise it would make the whole franchise application a joke and a waste of time, and the RFL laughing stock by bending THEIR own rules to suit, if they do bail out the quins as widely expeted as they did b4, then thus proves that they are not financialy stable and do not reach the Franchise reqiurments as set out by the RFL, will be intresting as i don't think the RFL will want to lose Quins after bailing them out once already at the 11th hour.

As has been said many times before by more esteemed posters, can you please give full details of these so called financial bail outs from the RFL ???? Dates and amounts would be useful, as far as I understand the situation technically we have no debt.

What 11th hour was this. If anything it is SL chairman to thank for London still being in Super League. Votes are what saved us then, not RFL bail outs.

It is beyond belief how biased some can be, no wonder at times sponsors must feel our game is a joke! what DEBT have QUINS RL as a club? We are playing a major part in youth development in the south, in fact it is stronger than many northern rugby towns! which is a disgrace to those areas in the north.

I wonder if you really know how stable some Northern Rugby League Clubs are? even St Helens with all it's success lost in 2009 more than £650,000, while Widnes Vikings made a £1 million profit, in Super League there is only ONE Club that is truly successful all round off the pitch and that is Leeds Rhinos, so please don't preach to us about FACTS, it shows how desperate some clubs are that they feel they have to visit our board and state nothing but sour grapes, I have never visited Castleford or Wakefield's forum why should I?

All clubs have to apply...and that's the way it should be. Bradford and HKR seem to get less of a mention when it comes to the "ground" issue and neither are rolling in cash either.

You have improved it from non existent, to rather a successful 'turn out', judging by how many play it the local schools/amatuer clubs.
But why should one rugby league club 'have to do this' ? After all, clubs should look after no.1. As a RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB, Harlequins/London/Broncos/Crusaders, whatever format, you are hardly been 'self sufficient', but you are not on your own.
The one ANNOYING thing, is that the RFL would care a lot more about keeping Quins alive, than say a 'flat cap' (northern to you lot)club, Why ?????

The RFL want a Super League presence in the capital. After 30 years it clearly hasn't been a massive finacial success. However the RFL continue to want a London Super League team. If they want it they can pay for it.

Never denied it was the truth but you just seem to want to have a go at Saints all of the time.
And has I have said previously that when we are in the new stadium we will be making a profit and I know that will really annoy you won't it.
