| After a start to the season that had me smiling on Monday mornings, I am now a nervous wreck on Sunday nights scared of what result I will wake up to..... delighted for the team that after their mid season "blip" where we lost to only other contenders, we seem to be inching our way to the middle 8's......next week is Huge, as it could all be done and dusted if Fax and London get their wins.....3 wins get's us third with Widnes and HKR visiting us as well as Fax whilst we travel to France, Toronto, Salford and a mystery yorkshire town (wakey/hudds/leeds).........I can see us getting 2 wins there, in France and at home to Fax

| I thought Hindmarch was superb and Battye would have been our groups man of the match. Thought Pellisier blended very well for a first game shame we didn't see our other newbie

| Tough game, but again we came up with a result - needed several calming beers to get over the last 5-10 minutes of that game!
Hopefully that sort of game will stand the players in good stead against Fev next week - they now know they can take on our middle 8s rivals and get a result.
Despite some mistakes cannot fault yesterday's effort in temperatures more akin to the South of France than West London.
Would also like to put a word in for Hindmarsh, he's been quietly getting on with it since coming into the side, not always showy or spectacular but good solid performances - he did very well yesterday against very decent opposition, really starting to look the business.
Anyone know what the attendance was ? Good turnout from Fax made for a pretty good atmos at Trailfinders yesterday.

| As has been said a very good game but not good for the nerves. Its a bit of a dogfight now for the top 4 although Im tipping London and Fax wins next week which should just about put it to bed barring any shocks on the last day. I thought Battye was your best player yesterday and for a big lad has a terrific engine and that extra fitness that London seem to have could prove the difference next week for you on a hot day as Fev do not seem the fittest team around.

Apparently it was 754, giving an average of 861 for the first bit of the season.

why would me, (an antagonistic agitator against the way the London club has been run for the last 12 years and a compete anti-fan of the root cause of the mismanagement beig in my opinion the RFL and Hughes refusal to work together) offering praise to the club be a sign that I wanted a job at the RFL?
A 7% rise in the number of paying fans at 11 home games may only be equivalent to about £13,000, but it means that even though we had no Bradford and HKR this year, we have grown our base......well done to all involved.

| I must have been watching a different match to Nadera.
Agree with his players to praise but I thought Pellisier was quite good. Quick at the play of the ball which got our forwards flying on, helping to stop the Halifax pack coming at us. Hopefully he'll get even better once the others get used to his style of play & he gels with the team.

Indeed...I believe the average attendance was nearer 3,700 when the "flowers in quins colours at the station" was first suggested and I've long given up on the hope that anyone who works at the club would have an ounce of anything other than a self-preservation gene in them......just bow to Dave and take the cash.....Bow to Dave and take the cash.......7% is a great result with little open effort, but in reality it's 60 more fans per game and not enough yearly ticket revenue to cover 1 months wages of a professional marketer

One of Pellisier's attributes has always been a quick scoot from dummy half, and that's a good thing when used at the right time. Unfortunately, watching on Sunday, he had a really unfortunate habit of taking 2 or 3 steps diagonally forward at the ruck before then passing the ball to first receiver. All that does is reduce the space between our attack and the oncoming defensive line, which makes it harder for the halves to actually do anything when they receive the ball. The defence is on top of them immediately. The hooker needs to either run or pass from the ruck, one or the other, but do it quickly and decisively.
It may just be him needing time to settle in, he's only been here a week after all. Or it could be one of the reasons his career flatlined a couple of years back and he ended up back in France. We'll have to wait and see.

He then passes to Cunningham who again heads either east of west giving us no space hence why hes always trying to look for the inside runner to straighten up
I've said it before Cunningham at 9 passes or goes, Samutt first receiver as he stands the defence up, is a good passer and can kick, Api second receiver who likes to play in space(neither Api or Cunningham have a decent high kick in them), why we dont go with that I will never know. We must trust wardy

| Pelissier had no real other option. We very seldom have anything but single runner as first receiver, he is probably used to having options, we don’t have dummy runners, no one running angles so is having to take a step or two is what was needed maybe

Yeah, if he takes a couple of steps usually to the left he draws the line, but needs that first receiver on his shoulder, he uses him as the dummy and hits the second receiver on the angle. Hes just sometimes a little to quick for his own good and ends up with egg on face. Good player though and he will adapt.

| Watch a game or two and see if you still disagree dog! Current way of play is very one up, first receiver very few dummy runners! Very few players running at angles.
Similar things were said about Sammut until he settled and rest of players started working out what he was doing.
Api struggles the same way, no runners.
Not about players I like it’s about watching the game

| Api struggles because Cunningham takes his space with his lateral runs. That the issue. We are closing our own attacking space down its bizarre
