These will be the weekends with no SL fixtures in the above list. So 4th & 5th Rounds only two weeks apart in May, then a two month gap until the 6th Round in late July, followed by the Semi Finals only two weeks after that and the Final on August Bank Holiday weekend as usual.

What a bloody ridiculous schedule, it's worse than ever. Most teams will have two blank weekends in three in the middle of summer. There's also a preponderance of consecutive home or away games in our schedule, so depending on cup draws (or lack of cup games if we get knocked out early) we could go for three or four weeks with no home games, or have several home games on consecutive weekends.

It does seem a bit ridiculous, unless we get a home draw in the cup there will be nothing in May at all at home

I'm P****d off about the Friday home games. Will probably have to drive around the M25 during Friday rush hour. BRILLIANT!

Aside from our trip to Catalan, there are no away games on a Saturday.

Nice to see some consistency in our game day. Only scanned the fixtures but seems like an almost perfect mixture of Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

dont think we can complain too much about the fixture list! 2 sunday games early on in the season, probably to prevent a clash with the yawnion boys and not including good friday we have 2 Fri night games of which one of those is a sky game

Not ideal having a spate of home games then a spate of away games but hey ho

i would suspect after the easter round of fixtures some of the Sunday northern games will get changed to fit in with Sky, that may or may nor affect us!!!

Looking at other clubs preference, The pies play nearly all ther home games on Fri night! rest look to stick to Sunday if they can!! but you are right its only us and the Cats who go for Saturday pm, just wish it was evening rather than afternoon then could get some london league stuff in as well

Glad to see we have our traditional Easter grudge match against the auld enemy. The frenchies can't possibly be as bad this year as they were in that game last year.

Interesting also that the last 2 home games are Leeds and Saints.

That gives us plenty of time to compose a suitable ditty to welcome back Mac and LMS to the field of dreams

Even the bbc has picked up on the fixture list issue, although the only folk they are interested in is Wigan and mention there first home game is not till mid March

Yes, I noticed that too. Wigan have a massive run of two consecutive away SL games (split by the HOME WCC match) and it's a BBC news item.



Perhaps they should have mentioned that some clubs may have four consecutive away games in May, two of which will involve supporters arranging costly travel at a fortnight's notice, due to the BBC's undue influence over the scheduling of Challenge Cup dates.

Was planning a road trip to Les Cats (just calling em that to wind up El Penguin) but looks like ill be on hols the two weeks before.
