Good to hear 2015 re-confirmed by the Bronco management again. Interesting piece of information I've just heard from someone who spoke to David Hughes on Saturday is that they are trying to get a 20 year lease at the Hive so it sounds like both sides are looking at a long term agreement.

Fingers crossed that the two sides come to an agreement for Broncos long term future.

Heard the same....hughes looking for 20 years at.£100,000 a year payable up front. AK may well take the deal as £2,000,000 would help his development fund

In a stadium with temporary planning permission and Barnet FC committed to a return to Barnet?

I can tell you that one player who is going there next season told me he is going to live in Edgware, so he and his other half looked up Edgware road on a map... til I told them where Edgware was.

The planning permission isn't temporary, it's permanent.

Yes Barnet FC are committed to moving back to Barnet, but the stadium won't be coming with us and will remain for London Bees and international teams training for Wembley games plus Broncos if they stay. Also regardless of whether Barnet FC get a new stadium in Barnet, the Hive will remain our training facility and there is no way TK will want to dismantle what he has already built.

The Back2Barnet campaign has slowed from it's original push 12 months ago so I don't expect Barnet FC to be going anywhere in the next 5-10 years. There are a lot of hurdles to overcome before South Underhill can be turned into a new stadium for Barnet FC, both political and practical.

Let's hope so, used to really enjoy the U19 games at the Stoop a few seasons back - often they were more enjoyable than the first team ones!

It took us 2 years to find the hive...lets hope Hughes manages to secure the 20 year deal to stay there.

As a SL club we are dead and buried. Without sl football the fans will dwindle in numbers. Without the fans the club will be even more dependent on Hughes.
Doesn't mean the club won't exist or that I won't follow them.....but as a top tier team we are dead and buried.
