As I just said, the club must want it finalised yesterday, but until the Council rubber stamp & the fans, they can't make a firm announcement, the current lockdown is not helping, and all clubs are in the same position with season tickets.

I certainly won't be investing in a season ticket (if available) if you have to be part of Jason Loubser's fan club to get any form of information.

The Dons Trust vote on the Broncos groundshare will be launched in the next few days. If the vote is positive, the planning permission will go in to Merton Council almost immediately afterwards.

The DT board wants to have some sort of post-season Legends type game in May before any rugby game, which will also serve as a necessary ground certificate test event. But the intention is for the Broncos to play this summer at Plough Lane.

Well what ever the first game is, lets hope we have done well enough up till then & it's a game we will win. If memory serves me well getting St Helens first up for our return to the Stoop & getting annihilated did us no favours in getting Union fans to give us ago.

I think that is a fair point. If by the time fans are allowed to attend, we have made a poor start (which is very possible), I cant see many rushing to take a look.

They say Trailfinders is not good enough for SL but we need to get there first. Are we spending money on a ground before we need to and should it have been spent on players to get LB to SL this season. I dont know if this team will get us there please prove me wrong. With AFC Wimbledon hovering 1 point above the relegation places in League 1 but with games in hand, if they got relegated they may need us as much as we may need them.

I would expect that the chance to move to Plough Lane came up and the club, quite rightly in my opinion, decided to take it up.
Opportunities like this do not come up every day.

Plough Lane is nearly 20 years in the making for the Broncos by the looks of things.

I liked Nick Cartwright but the interesting bit in there is market research suggesting 18000 would turn up to watch Wimbledon. If that had happened, they wouldn't have gone to MK.

Someone, a fan it seems, on twitter has called Wimbledon scum and demanded they refund Broncos season ticket holders for missed games. Dons fans are lining up to confirm they are now voting no.

I know the guy. He is to be admired goes, he has a disability but manages to get to away games, with some effort.

I can see what the guy is saying. Potentially we will only get there home games, for our season tickets.
However he is saying it to the wrong people. Its is The broncos he should have issue with, not Wimbledon. Who understandably want to have the first game in their own stadium.
