There will probably a surcharge involved somewhere along the line.......................

| I'm a ST holder and I cant be d paying to go all the way to Twickenham from NW London whenever I get a free moment and ask for a ticket.
I'm not writing a bloody letter either, just to go and watch a Rugby League game.
I wont get the chance to go to any other home Quins game before this.
If I turn up on the day, ST in hand, just for the RL game, I'm going to be charged nearly 30 quid to get inside a near empty stadium ?! Doesn't make sense. Can I not just email them?

| Why do you need to change your voucher if you only want to watch RL? Will the season ticket not be valid on the day if you just walk up?

I can't believe anyone presenting Voucher 6 at the turnstile after the union game has ended would be refused admission. The trouble is, not for the first time, the club doesn't make things crystal clear. The email I quoted earlier on this thread said all seats would be allocated for both games, i.e. no unreserved seating as is usually the case for our Bronze STHs such as myself. If you have a Silver or Gold ST with an allocated seat in blocks AD/AE/AF your seat will presumably be reserved for yourself as usual.
On another point, the email from the club gives the kick off time for our match as 6pm, whereas I was under the impression it will be a 5.30pm kick off, which is the time given on the Superleague website.

Really? Edit: Oh I have just read what you have wrote. Are the club having a laugh? They are now actually CHANGING our season tickets, denying us what we bought at the start of the season? Can they do that? One of the reasons I bought a season ticket was the unallocated seating. I don't want an allocated seat.

Did they give a time frame, or did they say it to shut you up?
Despite the club saying that they would contact ST holders about their ticket, they never contacted me. I rang them up last week and will now pick my ticket up at the Hull KR game

No time frame. I have contacted the person-that-I'm-not-allowed-to-mention once more on a different issue and mentioned it so we will wait and see. I'm really not going out of my way in the slightest to organize my attendence to a match that is covered by my season ticket.

Sorry, maybe I have missed something here but are ST holders supposed to do something in order to be able watch the game from their normal seat ? I had assumed all this messing about was for seats for the RU game.

I'll quote the email I received again. (Presumably everyone else with a ST has recieived a similar email so interpret it how you will.) It's the part I've highlighted in red that seems vague to me. Bronze STHs do not have an "allocated seat" and the email suggests we need to arrange one "for either match":
[i"Saturday 10th April sees Harlequins RL take on St Helens; KO 6pm in the Super League. Harlequins RU have also now re-arranged their match against Leeds Carnegie and so the day is now a very exciting ‘Rugby United’ double header and is an excellent example of how both Clubs are working in partnership. The day kicks off at 2pm and your Bronze Season Ticket is valid for both matches.
However there are a few changes to the seating arrangements for the two matches: -
=#FF0000· The seating arrangements for both games will be reserved seating and therefore you will require an allocated seat for either match.
· You will be able to sit in any of the stands but not in the middle three blocks of the LV= or Etihad Stands.
· You will be offered the opportunity to reserve your seats before the remainder of the tickets go on general sale
What do I need to do if you want to attend both matches?
You will need to exchange Voucher Number 6 in your Season Ticket booklet for a match ticket. This can be done in various ways: -
· Come down to the Stoop during normal office hours to exchange your voucher (Mon & Fri 9-4.30; Tues, Wed & Thurs 10-4.30)
· Come along to the Salford City Reds match (14th March) or the Huddersfield Giants match (20th March) and exchange at the Ticket Office on match day
· Send in your voucher along with a covering note to The Ticket Office, Harlequins, Twickenham Stoop Stadium, Langhorn Drive, Twickenham, Middlesex TW2 7SX
We appreciate that you and a group of friends may normally sit together at games, so to ensure that you can still do for this game, please co-ordinate your ticket order.
Don’t forget it will not cost you any more money to watch both matches so why not take up this opportunity?"

| This is what I know. I already have my ticket for the Union match. I am in the South Stand. After that match is over I shall be returning to my RL seat for the match against St Helens.

| So the club have now confirmed to me they have effectively ripped up the terms of buying a Bronze season ticket and are making us sit in allocated seats.
Marvelous.

| I am in shock having read this whole chain, can undertand Saints fans being a little bit annoyed by paying an extra tenner but I am a Bronze Season Ticket Holder and I have no problem with an allocated seat. I am really looking forward to the day, not a huge Union fan but going to watch with a few pints of IPA and enjoy the atmosphere of a full stadium.
We cannot afford to be so belligerent about this situation, I am just happy I still have a team to watch and am thus realistic. The club has to bring in every penny it can and this double header makes economic sense.
Yes I know it is easy for me to say this as I am not paying any more for this game, but our club cannot continue to function forever on current attendances so I will not be complaining when they try new innovations and explore new revenue streams.
On a side note, does anyone know if Leeds are expected to bring many fans down? I see they are teetering on the verge of relagation. Saints, Leeds, Quins Union and League fans. Going to be fun trying to get to the bar!!

neither will I, [size=200PLEASE TELL ME WHEN WHEN IT HAPPENS.[/size
Sorry, but the only benefit from this double header will be to inflate the clubs average attendances for the season. It didn't work on any other level in 2006 (if it had, they would have repeated it in 2007).
As for saints fans........there loss is offset with the free tickets for Huddersfield fans and the £5 seats for HKR fans this Monday.....genius, pure genius
I look forward to reading with inerest the offer for a £5 ticket for Castleford fans announced on facebook on May 15th

| So we pay £25 and Hull KR pay £5 and Quins pay £7 to watch the Crusaders match.
Sounds to me as if Saints aren't welcome at the Stoop or are we subsidising the £5 game? I feel we really are being ripped off big-time!!

So you think it is right to in effect penalise both the Saints fans whose coaches are scheduled to arrive in time for the Quins RL fixture and the Quins RL supporters who only wish to watch the RL fixture anyway. A one off fixture is not going to solve our revenue problems it is only going to falsely inflate our attendance figure in order to appease the RFL come licence renewal time. Enjoy the atmosphere of a full stadium, it'll be business as usual for the rest of the season...........

Believe me when I say this.....a lot of Quins fans sympathise with you.......I for one will not be there because of the rip off price, and the money I was going to find for my Summer season ticket will now be spent elsewhere.
