I'm currently waiting for an email from Barmy Flags re: how busy they are at the moment, and how long things might take. The gent who has offered to help us design it is very keen to get started too, so hopefully we can brainstorm a few ideas?

Considering this flag is admittedly somewhat late, how do people think about a flag that would be black and white, as a homage to our birth? I think attempting to get 4 clubs on 1 flag is somewhat ambitious.

Any input appreciated

I like the black and White idea, how about black with White V and red trim (like the 30 year kits) with either the current badge or just LONDON written on it. Think it's kind of late to put 30 years on it.

Or as above with Est 1980 at the bottom if we still want it as a heritage flag

As for badges......would it be impossible to have Fulham, Crusaders, London RL (broncos) and Quins along the chevron?
Below are 2 rough ideas of how the flag would look........I only have 2 logos at present so that's why they are repeated.

These are only done on paint but it gives you an idea or a base to work on and add too if necessary

I tried one with a lare Quins RL logo across the bottom but my image distorted too much for me to show it, so I dont know if anyone can design that

I like the top one. Perhaps we could have something above the V? And GF first one.

again only very basic from paint, but how about the logo in the V? personally i prefer it without but ive done 2 anyway, the second looks poor but i realised this was our 2010 badge and he other one i used was the 09 badge

You're right, I think I prefer it without too...

I agree better without logo. Maybe offset the red "v" from the white per this shirt.

How about we stitch a piece of velcro to the bottom of the chevron and we can change the logo as required



OR

Having flatter "v" per the original shirt (and sogspurs design) gives more space to position "London RL" at top of "v" (per GF's design).

given me and sogspurs are messing around with paint it's a wonder we can get the chevron to look like a chevron


I still think that we should try to use the 4 logos to date if possible....we must always look to the future but we should never forget where we came from.....

You could still get all 4 logos within the white chevron I think?! With the chevron "flattened" you could have 2 logos either side of the point. The Fulham shirt in the programme photo had 1 either side. The "30" shirt from the club has that too, 30 on the left and club crest on the right as you look at it.

Will just need to get the logos sized correctly so they look uniform.

Listy...did you get all 4 logos (to a good standard) last time? Maybe your designer buddy could rebuild them......and we could see a new line in T-shirts for sale on RLFANS.COM......I'd have one!
