I believe your agenda is to take fellow forum users into a zone at every opportunity (marketing for example) which is your comfort zone due to your employment, them willy wave with facts and figures, then when challenged abuse which is a very poor managerial trait. Am I right?

I think I've just realised why he's obsessed with David Hughes. Because DH is a poor manager, and every time gutterfax looks at him, he sees a reflection of himself.

David Hughes deserves some respect for keeping the club going. I know it is going in the wrong direction now, he made some really poor appointments.
But we would have been dead and buried long ago without him. Sure the club has been run badly, but we all know that.
If the ground at Ealing is going to expand and we are going to be putting down roots, it may work out OK, but I have an awful feeling that, that's not the case.
The RFL need to take their share of the blame. From where I sit I cannot see that we have had much help from them, they went charging in when Bradford were in a hole and bought the lease on the dump that is ODSAL, to help them out. Why? To save rugby league history I was told. It is The National Trust job to save buildings for the Nation, not the RFL.
If the RFL are committed to expansion, as they say they are. Then The London Broncos need help. Give David Hughes a hand. Get out of you little comfortable world up North and help, because, before too long it will be too late.
The M62, the comfort zone. for the RFL, will ultimately, be a road to nowhere, all professional rugby will end up being that Union game . I for one do not want that.

Regardless of where the club play, what has become obvious is that attendance by paying fans is of no interest to Hughes..... And it is paying fans that are the very cornerstone of any chance of self sustainability

Had look on the Crossrail map last night and saw that it runs to Ealing Broadway, thought that'll be handy - but seeing as it doesn't open til 2018 ( or 2019 if some rumours are to be believed) is there any chance we'll still be there? Or still in existence?

He is very forthright, with a military background (SAS) underlining his refusal to suffer fools lightly and his Jesuit boarding school education making him someone not to be messed with, which will raise the question how gentle giant St David of Swinton and this guy will get on, given St Dave's track record with the toff element at Quins.

I believe that the sports ground is owned by a charitable trust that Gooley set up and since 1997 they've spent millions on the place, so there may be a "buffer" in place between these two independently wealthy men.

As for the "development" of the sports grounds, in respect of the main pitch, I have scoured the planning rights section of Ealing Council and looking at the conditions enforced on the new cricket pavilion ([urlhttp://gis.ealing.gov.uk/webreports/planning/planning_weekly_Detail_results.asp?txtPlanRefNo=PP/2013/0825[/url) any new stand will have to blend in with the local environment. They had to fight hard with the residents in 2010 to get the floodlights up and their licence application in 2008 was met with objections from residents of Vallis way.

That said, I now believe that having looked at the site from google earth, there is certainly a case for a bigger stand across from the current offering.

Whilst I welcome the news that there are enough "passionate' fans left to field a fans team, I am stunned that someone as "passionate" as you is decrying me for posting relevant information regarding our home next year????

Well gutters, if the Broncos move to Ealing I doubt I'll be watching them, although knowing me I'll probably have a season off save a few games (like 2014) and return to support the club with a ST if we're still in existence in 2017. I suspect that if we move again we won't be moving until 2017 anyway.

It's all very sad and I really hope that at some point there is some light at the end of the tunnel for you guys. Would've been great to have you stay on board as the Hive evolves but sadly not to be it seems.

I'm pretty sure the information from others about Broncos moving away from the Hive is correct as there are far too many dots joining up for me to think it could be otherwise. Although I haven't seen or heard anything definite from my perspective on things, I have recently been told that TK is talking to another sport about sharing the Hive facilities, this isn't anything new but the fact these stories are re-surfacing now may be relevant.

Shame we couldn't get Kleanthous to buy the club as he was sniffing around Wasps at one point I recall.
