I have been told as recently as this week that Broncos are definitely at the Hive next season, whether it be on the second year of the 2 year deal or a renegotiated deal for a long term. As I said earlier, my understanding is the Hive are not keen on the second year of the deal and would prefer a longer deal in place and I completely understand why this would be the case given the position with whether Underhill is sold and a larger North stand is built to house the Broncos operation should they decide to stay beyond this year.

Let me make this clear. I can find nothing and no one that supports GFs claim that Broncos may be homeless in 2015 or even that they wont be at the Hive 2015.

Yet the club have not mentioned where they are playing in 2015.......and the deal for 2015 that was heralded is being renogotiated at the request of the landlord. Unless he is he most benevolent if souls, you'd envisage him requiring more coin than he took this year....and the club are back as tenants once again. You are right GF that apart from initially stating they are playing at the Hive for two years they have not issued a statement since seeing your claim on this forum.

You really need to go back to December 2013 and see how the agreement was announced. It was a deal for 2014 with an option for a second year. The landlord wants nothing to do with the arrangement for this year, next year, so the club are renegotiating the terms for 2015 which will include us paying rent.....something that we were told wouldn't happen in this defining new dawn for the club. We've been fed bull and some are greedily and gratefully wolfing it down

As it is though, the hive statement is bollox because the hive ripped up the 2nd year part of the deal. AK is now no nearer being an investor in the club than he was in 2012 before he'd even heard of us.......we are paying him rent for 2015. Best an easiest bit if business he's done in ages I reckon.....took a cash injection from the RFL last year and now has us bang to rights over a barrel because nobody else wants us and the RFL don't give a flying one......

I told you at the time that TK was extremely unlikely to be an investor in such a loss making enterprise but he is interested in Broncos staying at the Hive on a long term deal (I get the impression long term is an alien concept to you and Broncos management.)

Is the 2nd year of the agreement going to run as agreed in 2013 or has it/is it being renegotiated? Who wanted it renegotiated? If this isn't ripping up the deal it's doing a pretty good impersonation of it.
As for long term and the broncos.......after 2015 and the parachute payment, I'd steer clear of making any plans....
