If the club had marketed themselves properly back in 2002, then we wouldn't be in this situation now. I never said that Marketing NOW would solve anything, but you carry on having a dig at me anyway...it'll detract from the cluster unfolding at the club. |

The infrastructure and player/fan relationships started to break down about the time Brian McDermott arrived. From being an open to fans/inclusive sort of place he was against all the socialising that had gone on before and didn't encourage the aftermatch meetings. Back room staff left, volunteers were not treated well, Chris Warren went on to better things and the friendly club that we had known virtually disappeared. Powell didn't help on or off the field and the rest as they say - will likely be history .. . . . . . . in a couple of weeks maybe?

The Community feel/volunteers will need to be recovered if the club is going to survive............whomever is investing in the team needs to understand that IMHO. |

Well as said for a while it is looking as if Wednesday will be the day, it is said the club will after discussions reveal the future plans. It is being said we are looking at South Sea Island players who are competing in the world cup. Reports say we have offered reduced contracts to two senior players.
Wednesday looks like being some day. Ian Lenagan is trying to hold a Super League meeting today or tomorrow, unhappy at the way Super League is being run (at last!) and the plans being pushed through, Clubs supporting him are Warrington, St Helens, Hull, Hull KR, Huddersfield and London, noteworthy no Leeds! who seem to be close Red Hall in more ways than one.
