| Big man on the wing has worked throughout SL, and he looked very dangerous near the line for Wigan last year in a very good back-line.

| If Pryce comes I hope he does well, but I'm not as myopic as some posters on this thread when it comes to his percieved faults. There's a long standing criticism of Pryce that he lacks heart, that he has the size and pace and even many of the skills to be a top class back, but somehow he's just never pulled it together with the bottle needed. I think of him as a bit like the back line version of David Mills, you just think he should be better than what he is given his natural attributes. Maybe he will come good, but if he's going to be compared to Paul Sykes time with us then he's got to stand up and be counted week in week out and that's been a big question mark at all his clubs.

| Well Quins won't be lacking size in the backline this season with Pryce and Clubb. Hope he does well for Quins.

Will be here for the season unless injuries at Wigan force them to return is how i read it. With the strength in depth at Wigan I should expect a very long loan spell

| If you can get the best out of Calderwood,Mellor and Pryce you'll have a terrific little team.Best of luck for the season.I used to watch you as Fulham, before returning to Leeds, but in a roundabout way,I did provide you with a Chairman!

I don't really understand this, surely if it was that way it would be the standard season long loan deal with an option to recall at 24 hours notice as is often done in football. Not quite sure how we were only able to bargain for four weeks worth of their services - seems a bit strange to me and doesn't fill me with confidence at all.

| Will Joe mellor get a lot of gametime? Don't really know what you have in terms of halfback options other than Dorn (won't he play fullback?) and Gale.

| Well,at Reading University in the late 70's,I met a chap called Keith Hogg and took him to a couple of Challenge Cup finals featuring Leeds. After Reading we ended up living close to one another in Wandsworth,so I took him down to the Fulham games.I returned to Leeds,he ended up your Chairman!

Randall and Gale will be the half backs with Ellis at Hooker- Mellor will fit in amongst those three either through interchange or injury I suspect

I hope Randall has upped his game because my memories of him playing at 7 last year are not good ones.
I assumed Randall and Ellis would share 9 duties and, assuming Mellor is here for more than 2 games with which to impose himself, he would fit in alongside the Gale / Bailey figure at 6.

| Pengy, They were my thoughts until I went to the game on Fri and spotted Chad with 7 on his back!. I doubt we will go with one 9 into the games-he may start with Chad at 7 and move him to 9 during the game- Lets wait and see.

| Joe Mellor is very much in the Sam Tomkins mould, saw him tear apart Saints reserves in the Reserves final in 09, unfortunately he got injured in pre season last year and was out most of the season, think he only played about 3 games. But i think he will do well for you, to come back to wigan in 2012 and play alonside Sam

| Pryce has alternated between very good , poor and the water carrier.
It'll be interesting to see which one turns up , though a decent run of games may well benefit him.

| I genuinly think Pryce has been hard done to at Wigan and am suprised he signed a new deal after how he has been treated by a number of our fans.
His greatest attribute is obviously his size. The problem is many want him to use it like a prop forward and charge in like Feka. He's just not that type of player. His biggest weakness is acceleration, it takes him a long time to get going, one he does he's damn difficult to stop. Many have confused this with poor attitude as he looks lethargic. In terms of attitude how would you react if half your own fans are booing at you.
I think his best position is centre as he has excellent handling skills for a big man. Also defensivly he is very good. I look forward to how he develops over a run of games without the pressure associated with Wigan. If he stays fit IMO he'll be in the England squad at the end of the year.

He won't have to worry about that here. We clap the team off when they lose by 40 points.
