| Nobody knows, the one thing I do know is that some permanent roots and stability are the only things that will lead to increased, regular support, hence we should stick where we are, no question about it.

I'm sure Nic said we lost 75% of season ticket holders when we moved from The Valley to Griffin Park. Heaven help us if we move East and that is replicated. It's certainly a big call where we play next year and I just hope the right evidence is to hand when the call is made.

Exactly. I find it staggering that some posters are advocating yet another move. Bonkers.

It's fine all this we must not leave the stoop, and emotive comments it's bonkers. the Truth is it may not be our call in the end, and what is on offer may not be acceptable, so we have got to be prepared for whatever happens! We should have stayed at Craven Cottage and then The Valley but Reality is we didn't and that may have to be the case again, it will not affect my support wherever we play!! (unlike some) I will not be taking my ball home LOL i

| It needs to be the best balance between affordable and accessible. Nothing else matters. We don't have anything like enough fans in SW London for it to really matter.

You still won't go to any home games? I see.
If the club can't strike a deal to stay at The Stoop they should give up IMO.

3,620 is the average gate for Harlequins RL v Bradford Bullls in Superleague. (7 games)
4,227 is the average gate for 16 Superleague games v Bradford in London (2 Games in Leicester 1997/2001).
9,116 at The stoop is the highest London gate for this tie in Superleague 1997.
2,534 at the Stoop is the lowest London gate for this tie in Superleague 2008.
4,253 was the gate at the Stoop in 2011.
Over 16 seasons, Bradford are the 4th biggest draw in London after Wigan, Saints and Leeds.

| Ok make me look a liar if you like but certainly the recent attendances v the Bulls has not been great.
Last year we had a reasonable gate due to ES giveaways but the previous 3 years have all been below 4000, so hardly a cause for tremendous optimism this Sunday. The Bulls are not a great draw anymore, I'm afraid.
Anyhoo, we can all look at the figures on a website... I actually go and watch the matches in person. Shame more people don't.

Good for you...I get up at 2am/3am and fight for bandwidth to listen to the BBC commentary......I would attend more games, but the 25,000km round trip's a bit of a bugger I wasn't aware that attendance at games was a prerequisite of being able to comment of the farce being played out at TW2 Towers...my bad
I wasn't making you out to be a Liar DSWG...just pointing out that the Bulls are the 4th biggest draw historically and 5th at the Stoop v.2
Interesting that the CEO expects about 3k....only once in 16 years have the bulls attracted less than that and if the point of these OTR games is to introduce fans to the game, then I would say anything under 5k would be considered a waste of time and effort, not to mention the marketing budget they've found down the back of the office sofa to place ads in the local papers some 13 miles away from where we play our home games

| I'm not asking for any plaudits because I attend all the home games (just stating a fact) and I haven't said that attending the games is necessary for you to be able to comment.
I stand by the comments that the Bulls are not a big draw and the reason we got that one-off high figure in 97 was because we were 2nd in the league and Bulls were top (that scenario isn't likely to happen again any time soon!). Also, it was the last game of the season (day Princess Di died iirc)
It's going to be hard to judge the success of this game with any accuracy, as a lot of Broncos supporters have stated that they wont support these road games (I know of 4 STH who won't come so there's probably more).
Don't see why under 5000 would be a waste of effort...any new fans that we could get hooked would be welcome. A win on Sunday would help.

| I won't be attending, my current round trip of 98 miles up the M3 and A316 is more than enough. I know others currently travel further from other places to reach the Stoop and they have my plaudits, but Orient is further into/across London, and isn't as straightforward as my current journey.
It's all down to personal preference, the club will lose some fans for this game, but I hope they will gain some, whether those new fans will then join me for the remaining games at the Stoop (please let it be many games beyond this season) remains to be seen

| Exactly Blazing. We will lose some and (hopefully) win some.
Problem is, our fanbase is spread far and wide and few of us have an easy journey (I'm not far as the crow flies, but my journey is a minimum of 1 and half hours each way.)
When the other SL clubs fans have a go at us re our away attendance, they should consider what it's like to do the long journey's for home games like most of us do. It's not easy (or cheap!).

| How many Wire fans would go to see them play (at home) if the game was moved to Halifax?
Look at Saints figures for last year-That was a 7 mile change when they played at Widnes
Stability has to be the answer- If the crowd this week is big or small you learn nothing

People in the north, or some with a mindset which will never change toward RL outside of the heartland do not accept or understand travelling time for such as yourself! when you think I on a good run I can do it in just over 2 hours 30 mins M6, M40, M25! 250 miles each way.

| Agree with you wq, the attendances at Widnes last year were pathetic (would be so grateful for just a 7 mile journey).
In fact, if you think about the attendance at our Dewsbury game, we had as good a crowd in percentage of our hardcore fanbase as most of the other ties.
I don't think we will learn anything from the Orient game ( other than the favoured strong lager of the Poles in the park)

| A crowd of 2,000 on Sunday is a good figure and a crowd of over 2,500 is a fantastic figure in my eyes.
The club have less than 1,000 season ticket holders, 800 is around the mark I believe so if all ST holders went there is already 800-900 people in attendance. The club have to hope that Bradford fans fancy this as its a new ground and a fairly straight run on a motorway so lets say 350-400 make the journey thats a crowd of 1,150-1,300. To then get 700-800 more people through the gates be them Orient football fans, RL fans from East London/Essex, players from East London/Essex clubs would be fantastic.

| How to depress yourself for the weekend, read these boards!
It's an experiment, I'm looking forward to seeing a new ground and taking a few people along because it's in our area(ish). Bradford is a good team to play here because they aren't as good as they used to be ( think some people are forgetting there is an actual match happening) and we could win it. Some people won't go because it's at orient, some won't go because we are a bad team, but that's their problem. I hope they miss a great performance.
Roll on Sunday and I hope to see a lot of regulars and new faces enjoying bank holiday Sunday and 2 points for london
