So what? That's a one off event marketed to 78k CCup final fans coming to London. They normally get about 400!! We've had over 8k for big games in the past on more than one occasion. Pointless comparison.

I congratulate both The Skolars and The Stags for the work they do, but lets have some reality that is a one off attendance, I see both teams never developing sadly anymore than the stage they are now.

The what is that the London Skolars are a club who are being managed incredibly well off the pitch by the likes of the Kramer's and Paul Thorman (who is actually leaving) and are producing a side on the pitch that is not only competitive but winning games as well.

Compare that with the clowns at Broncos. Less fans than Skolars in three games despite being a couple of leagues above, no idea what the men in charge are doing and Tony Rea's rabble of rubbish.

Why use the Skolars to denigrate the Broncos? Nobody on here is defending Broncos management but, as you are aware, the Broncos are two league levels above. Your comparison is fatuous.

Wrong. Skolars budget for marketing will be tiny in comparison with a side two leagues above them (the Broncos) and the Skolars marketing staff have done more with their tiny budget than the Broncos staff have in the past...5-7 years. Throw in the game at the HAC and it further highlights the incompetence of the Broncos and how the money the fans have spent has been wasted.

Incredibly well? Really? Their crowds are no better than any other club in a league which is packed with younger clubs than them. I'm supportive of the Skolars but I don't see them as a shining example of management and progress.

Their season hasn't finished & they're already punting season tickets for 2014.

If Gus worked for Skolars he'd hold a position commensurate with his abilities.

I want to know what the truth is too, but whatever the plans of the club they should explain to the players not to talk to the press. (Accept that it is possible that neither Tony Clubb or Kieran have talked to the press and they have just made something up, but a denial would be nice if this was the case)

I am told that matters are being done as quickly as possible to resolve the situation we are in, but I pointed out that Tony Rea should have told players, please for the club's sake do not make comments to the media, what frame of mind is players going to be in for this weekend's game? I just can't believe journalists would make up a comment, except Julie Scott who does tend to exaggerate matters a little.

The Skolars are the only club in the Championship that has never gone bust, and you can also add a lot of Super League clubs to that. The Skolars are a model on how to run a club.

I don't think anyone denies that! but it is moving on to the next level, and the money needed. More than ever now so many Northern fans are wanting to pull up the draw bridge and want the sport to go back to being The Northern Rugby League, a step backwards, and some still call union, the Minor Sport?

finding it hard to be positive about the club at the moment. Clubby repeating his "I want out of here" tantrum was bad enough, but no the Likes of Dixon being tapped by the daily express (pizza express has better journalists BTW) is indicative of TR having no control over his charges.
Furthermore, TR was apparently amused/bemused by some of the conspiracy theories emanating from the boards.....I would suggest that every time one of his players says they don't know what's going on it "thickens the plot".

DH made an undertaking to finance the club until the end of 2014. If that means moving to the Hive or to another football ground in London then so be it, but every passing day they run the chance of losing more fans......communication is key here.

As Listy has said its all down to Anthony Kleanthous. We are obviously waiting for him to agree to go with the deal - subject to him being able to with all these questions on what he is allowed to do according to the Lease/Council. It isnt the club!

The club must [uwant[/u to confirm everything as any players who have agreed to sign will not wait for us for ever and sign for HKA etc.

Ultimately all of these issues are of the clubs making as they were the ones who chose to change ground mid licence period.

Gus has had all year on this as his #1 priority and here we are at the end of the season with fans and players alike not knowing where things stand.

I would suggest that it is 100% the club.
