One of the things is that the Stewards do not watch the fans, they take a seat at the front of the stand and watch the game. The only time they face the crowd is following a try, when they take up positions by the perimiter wall. (I fail to understand why.)They may check the odd ticket before kick off, and guide customers to the bar/catering facilities, but when faced with superior numbers intent on doing whatever they want, they are not going to cause a fuss. Who would, not for the few quid they pick up per match.

Last September Keith Hogg stated that there would be sufficient stewards to rigorously enforce the ticketing policy - he also said that Premier and Gold areas would be season ticket only with no sales on match day - both policies appear to have been hit by the credit crunch.

i still think you could get quite a few volunteer stewards if the idea was thrown out to the masses

Your condescending attitude is pathetic. I cannot blame these people for not renewing their golden (sic) season tickets as in the current situation they are a waste of mine. These "moans" have been prevalent on here since before the season started. I believe I started a thread on this at least a month before the season started, several games have gone by and not a thing has been done.



Please write your honest views, I would love to see them. I don't have a Golden season ticket but I bet the club would sh*t themselves if they read these views as I am fairly sure they are representitive of those that spend £300 on a season ticket. I would also support them. I only pay £100 for my season ticket but I am disgusted with the way they are treating us, the few fans they have.

Lister you are spot on. Yes we have disagreed on here and I would hope it is because we both care about the club and the game and at times our views will differ. This is RL, why is segregation needed? There were empty seats near us anyway, so why did it have to be allocated seating?



Agree with that, but the ticketing was a fiasco anyway. I arrived with my wife, a friend and the friend's 14 year old nephew. My wife and I paid £20 and were given seats in AD. Her friend asked for a ticket for her and asked for a concession ticket for her nephew, on the basis that £20 for a child is a rip off. She was told that they didn't have any at that turnstile and they should go to the ticket office to get one. But the ticket office didn't have any. The turnstile operator to the left of the stand as you face the pitch was extremely unhelpful and ended up selling two tickets on different rows and nowhere near each other. Hardly ideal to send a 14 year old to sit on his own and meant that 4 people who'd travelled together should have sat on 3 different rows. Fortunately the steward in the ground had a brain and got us all together but it was a bloody farce. Do quins not normally allow children to come in? It seemed that they didn't have a clue how to deal with just one.

The club have responded to their "mouthpiece", so pay attention.


The seating arrangements are being evaluated constantly and the arrangements will differ from game to game.
As for the next 2 home games, I believe it will be as before, but larger "mobs", such as Leeds, Stains and GODS own club from 'ull, may well be sat in the north.

Now, can we please get back onto the subject of rugby before the seating threads get moved to other sports.
