Too many sweeping generalisations YOU a RL fan do not like RU, fine. On what basis do you extrapolate that means the MAJORITY of RL fans do not like RU? Its like reading the Sun or the Daily Star - we think it, we write it so it must be a universal truth.............................

So now we are comparing top prices? OK. You first referenced to a £70 ticket but I know for a fact that they were nowhere near the top priced tickets that were available. Are you really trying to argue that the ticket prices at Twickenham for Six Nations rugby are comparable with the Grand Final? Never, ever.

Paul Blanchard's appointment seems a very positive move. His background, as listed on the Quins RL site seems to fit in well with the role of spreading the RL gospel around London. I think if Mark Evans gets involved with us it can only be a positive thing. He has done a lot of good things for the union side. Whilst I do watch RU, I do not support Harlequins RU, and never will do, but as a RU fan of another club looking in I can only see the good Evans has done.

If He has 20% of the sucess He had at Surreys oval We will have struck gold.

Dave has the club's best interests at heart and says what he thinks and I think his posts are usually fairly decent.

Lets focus on this fantastic new appointment

Hope he does well for you .....but i never thought he was up to the job he was doing at Craven Park from the dealings I had with him .....or should i say lack off .....as he was either not in the office when i called by phone or not available if i went to the ground in person ,,,,,and if you asked him to ring back he never did ......BTW at this time i was looking into putting money into the game for the company i was working for and his lack of cooperation went in some way to that budget now going into motor racing instead.

I know this is a bit pedantic, but should this be channelled through to a sales or commerical executive. Or are you talking about a naming rights sponsorship?

It is pedantic, SL clubs aren't huge companies, he should have responded. Nic C would always respond.

Surrey credentials seem good, not sure about Hull KR? - it is up to Paul now and for everyone to give him a chance and every opportunity.

There was an article in this week's League Express reporting that Quins were going to announce a "major reorganisation" in which Evans would be appointed CEO, with a general manager (unnamed in the article) also appointed to assist him.
