Anyone know anything about the new kit? Are they planning on running out in the buff on friday?

They wore the new kit today. Its similar to last years. The back isnt black-Its the same as the front ie 4 colours. The silly batman v has gone being replaced with a grandad collar

The short are black with a bit of green on- the kit looks pretty much the same

The number are low on the back-we had a small half back playing called "wee one" whose number was tucked into his shorts-Hmm

It's basically last year's kit with the two worst features eliminated, i.e. the "batman" collar and the plain black reverse to the shirt.

Numbers are black on a white patch, but as WQ says they were too low down, presumably to make space for the players names and an additional sponsor logo beneath the neck, neither of which were on the shirts today.

Skolars shirts (and stockings) were =#40BF00green, not black as suggested in the illustration a few posts back. Effectively a South Sydney shirt, although they looked decent enough.

Shame, last season's kit was the best one we've had imo since we've been forced to wear the pastels

front of the shirt is basically same as last year, without the horrible black cape.

Looks pretty cheap. Is that actually a Puma shirt? I can't see Puma on it anywhere, only on the socks.

Their logo is on the join of the magenta/blue quarters just above the main sponsor.

Just out of interest has anyone any idea what the change kit will look like? I seem to recall a rumour that it would be based on an old Broncos design of some sort.

The rumour was a Fulham style commemerative shirt that is seperate to the away shirt IIRC. Windy one seemed to have some info on it.

From what I am led to understand, same as last year two tone blue with white quarters.

In both cases not very inspiring to put your hand in your pocket and purchase a new shirt.
maybe they should ask Mac to pick the colours for the shirt, may be a bit psychadelic but heyho the colour of his sky is different to ours anyway.

did any of u notice that the nmber had to be on a patch like wires last year that should be addresed by the club

i think the numbers will be different, they were just temp's.

whens the shirt being released then? how many home games do we get a year? 13? I cant believe the shirt isnt ready before the first game. Madness.

Perhaps the club are doing us a favour...........saving us fifty quid that we might end up burning in frustration as the season progresses !!!!
