CMG is right a really key game. As long as our injuries aren't too serious then I would back us to win by 6-10points

We (Fev) have finished strongly in our two games to date, including against full-time Toulouse on Sunday, and all our players bar Hock ( who is very much working his way back to fitness ans still some way off) have looked very fit, but this will be our biggest test yet. Our fans are more upbeat than for a while as our halves are the best we have had in years and our pack rolled Toulouse, but away from home and on the plastic pitch will be a different challenge altogether.

Should be a great game and after a few years of predictable results it's kind of good that neither of the two runaway favourites will be top of the league after round 3.

True...another London/Fev draw is possible...but think Toronto would be doing well to win by 35+ at The Shay.

Would love to see fax turn em over to be honest. At Barrow the conditions were a real leveller, but TWP were showing signs of the old Leigh tactics trying to bully, and some cheap shots.
For us, if we play like we did against barrow, respect possession, don’t give away free mtrs, home advantage should give us the points.

We have done decent enough so far without Api. Ok it’s technically a much tougher prospect, but at least they are not trying to rush him back to early.

Just home from the Game. If we had not gone to sleep last 15 mins could have been over 60. Hope Cunningham and Dragon are ok, as will need them next week. Loads of positives, attack on fire, some great tries. Only small (and its small) negative is we will need to defend better next week. Yes they scored 3 tries when we had the game won, but still we had some defensive gaps we will need to close.

But overall, very good marker for the season. Pre-Season I had us down in 5th in prediction thread, now thinking we should deffo make top 4... Next week will be marker if we serious on top 2

Never went today as I am on my man flu death bed. Injuries to Williams and Cunningham seem bad?? Meadows play well?

Meadows was very good. Samutt went for 10 which gave him a chance with his boot. Good open field kicker.

Cunny was ok despite not passing the HIA, was back on the touch line smiling. Dragon, first suspicion was possibly a cracked rib, would be surprised if he plays next week, he didn’t come out of the sheds in the second half.
Don’t think the negative is a small negative, first half 7 penalties 5 of them for interference at the ptb, far far far too many. Difference was experience, Fev knew what to do to win the penalty, whereas some of our players don’t have the game nounce to know how to get the penalty!
Meadows played well, but his lack of experience showed, winning the ruck then not trying to gain his feet. Kicking down field into space when getting the ball dead would have been better.
Fev came out in the second half with one plan, try to bully, and we got sucked in, tbh though they played there best Rugby with 12 players.
We are playing much more like a team playing for each other, fitness is good, tackle technique is actually much better than last year (thanks wardy) but they need to be much more disciplined.
Overall the game got very scrappy, had we played smart it would have been 60 plus.
Players really do need to learn where to re start as well, the 40/20 was a classic example

Crowd just under a 1000 today I think, not brilliant but still above last years average.

Not actually seen what was said yet, but apparently wardy not happy with the performance, good that he is setting the bar high and not sitting back and just accepting the win.

Sounds promising. Wonder who will take Williams place next week. Api back, will he get in the team ??
