On Solomona he said to someone on twitter who runs the London broncos loyal twitter account, that he hoped to be here for the Salford game, not in time to play but maybe in time to watch. But knowing our luck his visa got held up in the post.

As for Farrar well you know the club they would prefer to tell how much rainwater fell in a bucket then tell you how far down the line they are with his visa application.
Greenwood is a strange one to me. He played well against Cats and Leeds then not seen since. If it was a bad injury im sure we would have picked up rumours from the Wigan site as I think we would have sent him back and this could be where this rumour about Hopkins has come from as maybe if it is bad then hes been lined up as Greenwoods replacement to us one they have looked at his injury that is.

Ok am gonna look at both sides here.
The club did seem to think that better communication was a good idea.
However on the other side in regards to visas, we were told visas take as long as they take, and when they come through is when they come through.
what is the point of saying "the news is we have no news" and if the response is well they could stillretell then the question is how often do we need updating?

I agree with that.

The reason I was frustrated was that somebody asked the club on Twitter if they could write reports on the U19s games. They responded with something along the lines that the admin is falling on a few and that it wasn't possible. Yet, they still find the time to write about a player who has been on Take Me Out - surely a total waste of time if people are busy. As I say, priorities aren't correct IMO..

Perhaps Boris could take Broncos tackling training, that looked a better rugby tackle than a football one.

Why do people expect the club to comment on rumours or visa applications? Am not saying the Bishay story was the priority, far from it, but you have to be realistic in what they can/will say

They stood up and said they had been in regards to communications......2 weeks later they are still at it......regardless of what was said in it, they should still send a regular email......nothing has changed

Club have never been forthcoming about injuries. Not surprised about nothing on visas as nothing to report. Lack of info on the junior teams is very poor though as is the lack of an e-zine this week. Postings on twitter are great and good news about a signing but until done and dusty the club won't make an announcement. Mind you the club is split between two structures which won't help good comms.

And I will regret this one. Is the club planning to announce some of this info tomorrow.

Just to clarify, the club email is sent currently by SOTIC, who when I dealt with them eons ago, were a company that had strong links with Rugby...but they also look after Leeds Rhinos as well in SL.

To create an email, you would in all probability use an idiot proof tool (no Gus jokes please) called a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). This is designed specifically so people with little or no knowledge (no Gus jokes please) of email and html can build a professional looking newsletter.
The subject matter of such a newsletter is neither here nor there. There is plenty of ways to fill the column inches and given that this will be over 1500 peoples first visit to the Hive, why not just send an email about getting to and from the venue, a map of what is where and a programme of events?

It is a shocking failure by the club. I get shouted down for not giving them a chance, but these idiots stood up and said they were sorry they were and that it would be different this time......






Even an email on Saturday morning would be something, although 85% of them are read at peoples desks......it is a ing fiasco and I am stunned that I am this angry, given I knew it would happen
