| At the moment they stand as Bishay and James Woodburn-Hall (SO). I know we are hoping for an experienced half back to come in but if we have to play James Woodburn-Hall (SO) has anyone seen him play? Is he ready to step up to this level yet?

| There's an Aussie over on League Unlimited who's opinion I respect re young players and he reckons if he had to recommend a young British half to an NRL academy he'd go with Woodburn-Hall.
That said, he's only 18. There's no way on earth we can go into the season with him and Bishay at 6/7. We need an experienced 6 from somewhere to play alongside young Mikey. JWH should only ever be a back up at this stage in his career.

Nice to know that people think the lad will make it in the future anyway. Seems like London will provide a few SL standard players from this group. With the NRL snapping everyone up god knows how we will keep them when they are good. Anyway. Lets hope he gets some game time in 2014 and steps up to the plate when he does.

| We very weak at halves (I think the kids have 11 full SL games between them). We also need a couple of experienced props. Olsi and Erjon are game but can't carry the side on their own.

| Olsi has the most appearances for the club in the current team! Perhaps Jamie will decide Penrith just doesn't do it for him. We certainly need someone with the experience and the positive attitude to lead the team around. Perhaps Longy is being seen as the mentor for the halves though will place a lot of responsibility on Moore.
I'd like to see the two youngsters prove us all wrong but think they need some experience alonside them so they can be brought in and on gradually.

| Woody (JWH) isn't ready yet. With guidance from Longy & game time he has the potential. Leeds were after him before he signed a 3yr deal. The next batch of kids behind are a great bunch and there are a number of England youth players within the group. If the club and still be around in 3-4 years then special times lay ahead. Wingers, forwards & a couple of half backs are there!

| Woodburn-Hall didn't seem to take charge last season. Understandable playing as a rookie with Soward alongside you so hard to say if he's up to it.

Rumours are if he's going any where in the UK it could be Wakey. He was linked with them way in December.
He's not played much last year, also I think I read some what where he's just got over a major knee reconstruction y.
If he was to come here, at least he's young so should be full of ambition and not just after a top up on pension.
But as I said above its more then likely he's going up north

| Slap Woodburn-Hall in there... unless we can find an experienced HB.
No one knows if he is ready as of now... people have only seen him play last year.
Was Sam Tomkins deemed ready by their fans when he was pushed into the team after Tim Smith was injured...... the rest as they say is history.

| We ran with two young, inexperienced unknown half backs in 2013 in Theo Fages and Marc Sneyd when we were in a similar position and both were impressive, so it can work.

iirc, the Wigan fans thought Noble took too long to put Tomkins into the first team.

A very highly regarded youngster who has demonstrated his willingness to move overseas when he signed for the Warriors. Like young Jacob Miller at Hull FC, a guaranteed run in the halves is something that appeals, rather than a few games here and there, then back to NSW Cup for the remaining 90% of the season.
Hopefully his Polish heritage helps him gain easy entry into the UK as we can't be waiting for another Jamie Soward, we will not see his like for a few years yet.

Sounds like a signing that would have been good for us. Pity we missed him.

Yes, because our league position was solely because of the two young half backs. Both made there respective national teams for the World Cup later in the year despite having no previous Super League experience before 2013.
