or if it is to remain a `home` game, move it to the Friday night or Saturday which will give the team longer to recover before we play Leeds the following Friday. Quins might of course need the Saturday to set up the Stoop for the HC game......you know, setting up barrels of guest bitters etc....whereas the LB fans have to put up with bloomin IPA `smooth` crap.

It makes more sense for us to move the match to either the Friday night or the Saturday evening than to Kent, but what was wrong with Quins scheduling their match for the Saturday? They knew there was a Broncos match to be played at the Stoop on the Sunday when the draw for the quarter final was made.

I dont think Quins get a say in when the game is scheduled it is decided between Sky and the ERC

Indeed, why did Broncos arrange a home fixture when Quins were quite likely to be playing in the Heineken Cup.

Could also have been a problem for the St Helen's game but Quins were drawn away if they win the quarter final.

This kind of thing happens, and it happens to bigger clubs than ours. No big deal. I dont care where we play its not like its our home anyway. If playing in 10 different stadiums in a season was the best deal for the club id be happy enough.

Very sensible but a/ the RFL - lets make the first game at Magic weekend the 2 teams furthest from Manchester and lets give London a Monday night game and b/ the prison warder with his dreams of lebensraum (sic) to The East are involved.

Wait for the announcement about the Saints game and Army Navy! We could end up with 3 games on a micky mouse pitch and see loads of 40 - 20s.

The RFL when arranging the fixtures can't use a Magic Ball to see if Quins may be at home in cup ties! swapping it to an away fixture seems the most practical rather than another on the road game, but I suppose we do not get to make the final decision on that!

I don't think you would have needed a magic ball to predict that Quins would qualify for a home QF in Heinenken Cup. There was every chance of this happening. I assume the club would notify the RFL of any specific issues that may need factoring into the schedule.

A good reason then for not sharing with a top union club with an overlap now of nearly 4 months of the season then?

What because we have had to move a fixture because of a clash one time in eight years?

I seem to recall the club being chucked out of Brentford for a couple of months every season

Obviously this kind of thing wouldn't happen when sharing with a soccer club.
