| Anyone feeling confident?
The Hull derby was a bruiser yesterday and will hopefully have taken a bit out of HKR's tank. We are rested up with a couple of players back after injuries.
Can we do it? Please please please!!

| It will have taken it out of us yeaterday, our pack dominated what is supposed to be one of the best forward line ups in SL. Hopefully they will be hurting fronm the narrow defeat and Quins will get the backlash.

| We have a big advantage with that postponement and them getting battered, though I was disappointed that Agar didn't give Lauaki more game time to do some more damage. Ah, I just read that he was concussed.
Let's see what the squads are.

| My only worry is how light the bench looks. i expect it be something like: Williams,Bryan,Wilkes, and Bolger.
But then again(shooting down my own concern ) it be about the same bench we had in last two games,so in reality it hasnt done that bad. Just not a lot of experience.
BIG WORRY is: Monsieur Alibert...

| Why worry about the ref????
we constantly do this, the difference being, other teams we play, and it happened a few times last year, play the ref! if he is willing to allow slowign the play the ball down then do it!!! if he is gonna be lax on the 10 mtrs play it!!!
As long as he is the same with both teams what does it matter

| Alibert is a shocking ref, up there with Child and Bentham.
Can't see us winning his, was more confident going into the Huddersfield match.

| Agree that HKR's pack could be expected to marmalise ours normally, but they could struggle after their short rest period. And we may have the better halves. I'Anson was poor on Friday and Dobbo (of whom I've previously been a fan) played like Thorman on a bad day.

I'm not buying into this whole short rest period thing. Plenty of teams have turned around with no problems before after a tough game, and Hull KR are not a team I associate with a lack of fitness. Dobson did indeed disappear on Friday, but then so did Eastmond for St Helens, who was abysmal - still a massive threat though. I also fear with Howell missing, the likes of Webster will run all over our 3/4's. Some of our players just aren't good enough for SL, and I fear we will suffer.

Why, what damage did he actually do against us?
I have a feeling we are going to be shattered for this one, hard tough game on Fri and a long journey down today. Still though, this is a game we can win, close and tight but I fancy us to just sneak it.

| I thought the Hull derby was a really terrible game. So many errors, dirsorganised, players flying out of the line, knock ons, penalties. I wouldnt be too worried about playing either team at home if I was any Super League team.....apart from us. I think we'll lose by 10.

Compared with Friday's squad, Kaye is in (yet again!) for Esders. You might have thought that Esders would be up for a game against his old club.
