Sadly due to work I was not able to get there and am stuck out in warm sandy place at the moment, would be nice to have some comment on here from those that were there

The argument for Saturday 3pm kickoffs was so that more away fans could travel

I haev argued this point but yesterday suggests that 500 Huddersfield fans proved this correct

Problem is that clearly the Quins are NOT supporting the Saturday 3pm's. 2000 home fans is a massive cause for concern

Be fascinating to know what on earth the club are going to do to address this issue. Problem is that having done nothing at all through the winter its probably too late to make a difference this season

Challenge cup gates are traditionally small for all clubs.

i don't think that going head to head with the grand national was the smartest idea. we were awful, huddersfield were very organised and powerful and played right on the edge, whereas we looking a bit off the pace, unco-ordinated and strangely unimaginative.

But its head to head with other events every week. Utter madness !!!

There are regular sporting events, yes, but then there are events like the grand national which attract the attention of millions of people. And we were already struggling to attract many people to come along. Why not kick off an hour earlier? Or at 5pm.? Show the race in the bar and use Buck and Dusty for promotional purposes as well? You know, use some imagination in how you try and attract people to attend. Rather than schedule it head-to-head. Although on the abject showing yesterday, maybe its better to ensure people stayed away......

You are right, I am a soccer fan. I would liek to have continued to be both but sadly that is a species not valued by Quins.

Time to wake up and smell the roses, it matters not whether its Challenge Cup or not, the crowds are appalling and absolutely nothing is being done about it.

All we hear is reasons why they are not bigger. Its action to increase them that is needed urgently not excuses and telling people there are soccer fans rather than RL fans

There is a chance to appeal to fans and get them to support BOTH sports but not by playing at the same time. I have said it before but no other RL club chooses this bizarre strategy

Jeez, I was at QPR 0 Crystal Palace 0 yesterday and I wish I had watched us getting stuffed by Uddersfield instead. It won't be a problem from now on as I'm letting my QPR season ticket lapse. £800 for me and Master Sheen to watch one up football surrounded by people so angry and sour they make Dave Lister sound like a Ceebeebies presenter? There is the difference, my lot (owned and funded by Ian Lenegan still) have taken 41 points from the last 48 with 13 wins, 2 draws and a loss from the last 16 games.

Put the buzz into context, there were more Oxford United fans at the away game at Stevenage last week than Quins RL fans at the Stoop on Saturday.

Surely that is embarrassing isn't it, more away fans at a game in the 5th league of English football than home fans at a Super League clubs home game.

I do believe at the pre season presentation, the words "I want to see the Harlequins walk out at wembley this year" was heard, admittedly not from Brian

The big worry I see with this game is not the result but the crowd, i understand lack of interest had it been a team like York (my home team by the way) coming down but this was an all SL tie, should have had more folk there

can't rememberthe last time a game was as hyped up as that one- not by the beeb of course- and would have been v surprised had it not been a full house

My big concern is many fans are not there because of the switch to the East stand plus the new seat allocations which appear to be alienating people. We cant afford to be doing this imo.

Rather glad I didn't spend £50+ and 4 hours on the train to watch that rubbish.
