I agree with BB. The Challenge Cup we will probably roll over in, we usually do. We could have won the 1895 Cup. To do so would have given the club a real boost. On top of that it would given us something to put in the rather bare trophy cabinet.

We show our lack of interest in the CC by allowing ourselves to get knocked out in the first round. I think David Hughes still has nightmares over the cup.

Aston was poor with the boot, of the ones he missed, he should really have kicked a couple of them.
Mixed views on this, CC for us is a distraction, I know there were a couple of kids in the squad, so think wardy was using it as a trial for some so losing no great deal. Just don't like the way we lost

I know some folk dismiss the CC these days but it would have been nice to get through ONE round.

Probably not surprising as forecast wasn't great, challenge cup and it was on telly/Our League. Nearly didn't go myself

Hoping Fev game will have some atmosphere

We have travelled in quite good numbers this season and last, obviously this is a long way and the £25 entry on top of the coach fare doesn't help, but am sure we will bring a fair few.

That said, at previous London-Fev games the Fev fans have tended to either watch near the bar or disperse round the ground so there hasn't been the same atmosphere that we hvae helped create at other away games. The best one for me was the Cup game on a Saturday evening 3 or 4 years ago when there were literally about a dozen Fev fans there (it clashed with a Fev Lions cup game and was one of the few games in recent years when Fev haven't taken at least one coachload of fans) but we still managed to get a mention in the Guardian the next day for one of our chants!

Yep, from memory there has always been a coach or two from Fev when we've played you before. We've got the big stand now and away fans last year used that as a base

I'd say a lot more London fans will be there this Sunday as its a more important game etc. Would be nice to get near a 1000
