God that would be like de javu all over again. We could play him at loose forward and leave Pewi and Barthau where they are. In fact you could play him anywhere.

Still signed to Penrith and Tony Rea (what's he doing these days?) was tantamount to getting Soward to play at the Stoop in the first place. Even for 1/3 of that season he remains a LB legend.

Jamies been pretty good so far this season despite having a poor game last week i doubt he will be leaving Penrith just yet.

Saw and spoke to him briefly after his game in the reserves at the weekend.

Press in Australia claim he is being given an immediate release to come to England. Unfortunately after that bit the suggestion is its a Super League club on a 2 year deal.

If James Soward comes to London ---as I prophesised a few weeks ago -- then if the players lift their game around him anything is possible. Super League promotion would be a real possibility. But the London forwards have to play their hearts out.

Actually makes some sense the possible signing of Jamie and would be a real coup. We are missing Barthau and he isn't likely to be back until middle of the eights if we are lucky. It would provide more guidance around the pitch and less pressure on forcing Barthau back early.
